Went here on Saturday. Waited 35 minutes for food. Our lunch for 3 cost $70. The food came out almost cold. My friend ordered a mushroom quesadilla and the waiter brought the sample entree instead. The portions are tiny. The empanada has much to much dough and hardly any filling. The arepa is very doughy in texture and minimal filling. This is my second time here. The first time it was very good. But, I will not return. We were still hungry when we left. $70 for nothing more than tapas. The owner is very friendly and kind, so I believe he just needs to fine tune these things. Some of his staff look hung over which is not appealing at all.

Food is great. Just not sure about the hours. Website, and sign in the window says it opens at 10am. Walked in at 10:46am and was told they are closed.

Recently tried this place and was very happy. The owner and his staff were so friendly! I came in close to closing time looking to get some ramen. The owner said unfortunately we have run out for the day but if you have a few minutes to wait, I’ll make a fresh batch for you (and he was happy to do so)! Customer service was wonderful as I find not many places will do that for you. Food was great as well! Can’t wait to come back! :)

If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out on some of the best food in the Hudson Valley. Hand made ramen, freshly made broth, insanely good bao, empanadas from scratch, and all of the homemade drinks from the horchata to the agua frescas will make you go back over and over again until you’ve tried the whole menu. You’ll never run out of new options though since they’re always doing seasonal specials and coming out with new delicious products.

The service is really top notch, very friendly and patient, asked me after menu how I enjoyed the food and what I liked best. So sadly the steak was not ready so I went to choice two chicken for the bao buns and ramen. The buns were pillowy soft and held up well, the chicken filling was very seasoned and very generous in portion. The slaw was very good and normally I never eat slaw and they made so good I enjoyed. The ramen, chicken was amazing, I appreciate it was grilled and seasoned, over a pan fry, had alot more flavor that way. Eggs were runny and yummy. The noodles, were alright, not biggest fan of organic noodles. Broth was well seasoned and definitely the first place I seen seeds placed in to the broth, but a pleasant surprise, now the shiitake mushrooms were even better the chicken, seasoned and cooked like a piece of steak, wish I had more mushrooms, plus I found out they marinate the mushrooms before grilling them, definitely something that will be a new favorite. This place itself is small, but I can tell definitely pride themselves on quality.

Incredible homemade latin/asian fusion food and a wonderful ambiance. Chef David and his team are extremely kind and informative on what's involved in each dish. They even offer meal prep options!

Great food with the culinary expertise of the owner who went to the culinary institute.Mondays they are closed but he always tends to have special menus for interested lunchers in Eastdale.Tacos, burrito (rice) bowls, bao sandwiches, tamales, soups — all excellent. Most importantly, this is healthy, filling, and well-priced. It's the only thing like in the area.

We were looking for ramen and told to try the Academy. I called them first and they told us to come here for the best ramen in the valley. It lived up to the title. Fresh made noodles and bao buns. Every protein we tried was out of this world. Super fun atmosphere too getting to chat with the chef. Can’t say enough good things

Love the concept. Food was solid with extra points for fresh pressed taco shells. Hot mess of a kitchen and setup. So disorganized it concerningly looked like a dorm kitchen rather than a professional one. Will likely be a great spot if they can get it together.
