Rossi & sons in poughkeepsie will make you question everything you thought about delis. EVERYTHING. It’s not just the best in the hudson valley—it’s better than anything in nyc. Fresh bread, perfect ingredients, and sandwiches that set the standard.

The cutlets, the quality sliced meats, their fresh mozz—it’s all on another level. People visiting from the boroughs try it and walk away stunned that the best deli isn’t in the city.

Second time here. Sandwhiches and service are great.
However, when you pay $7 for a soup you expect the container to be filled to the top and a bigger size. Tomato basil soup was mostly chunks of bread and barely any soup.
Baked goods were excellent, I won’t get the soup ever again though.

The sons of this place are plain sloppy and messy. Not only are the sandwhichs so ridiculously overpriced which I guess they can get away with it cause it's east dale, the worst thing to ever happen to poughkeepsie. Eastdale encouraged all the slumlords to gather and raise rents while being unethical and sloppy just like the sandwhich I just ate from there. My sandwhich was full of unpitted olives. When I bit down it hurt my front tooth bad but luckily it didn't break. These sandwiches were ordered for a birthday party for the elderly, people over the age of sixty. Luckily I was one of the ones who bit into the sandwiches and im 38. So sloppy, so messy and so unethical just like eastdale. I'm so embarrassed for this establishment.

every time I eat food from here I feel myself being lifted ever so closer to heaven. Rossi and his sons have ruined me for all other food. I don't know how they do it and I think it's not even something a mere mortal could comprehend

Alright, yall, today I'm talking about a small slice of Paradiso Italiano! This place has a LOT to offer! Food that can & will satisfy ANY fat guy cravings.

Let's start with the staff! Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and patient! (They put up with me!!!!)

Next, we'll be discussing the AMAAAAAZING breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage & kohlrabi. On faccacia FRESH bread. Oh, did I mention this sandwich is bigger than or darn close to the Who*per from that creepy crown dudes joint, IYKYK!

Now, onto their mini market. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN TOMATO SAUCE. sadly, I lost mine due to trying to avoid a potential accident. So, I definitely have multiple reasons to return!

Overall, definitely giving it my personal opinion of a fantastic 10/10.
