Standard Americana food. Not bad, but not remarkable. However... what was bad and is remarkable is the price. When a lunch plate is $40-60, I don't care where you are, expectations are high. $50 in NYC gets you a very nice lunch. Not the best, but very nice. The dishes we had did not come close to meeting those expectations. At half the price I would come back. And 3/4ths, I'd give it one more shot. But for this much, pass. A fantastic view can only make up for so much.

Fantastic views and good service/ambiance. It's a fairly elegant space and the prices are fair. Blue points oysters were great. Food in general is ok as well!

Visited with family for a Halloween- themed brunch and it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious with a huge array of choices, including many fun "scary" desserts, and the service was on point. We look forward to being back soon!

I and my wife think this place is nothing but amazing. After four separate visits to this restaurant, we got married here. Every visit impressed, didn't matter what day of the week or time. They provide an extremely high level of food and service consistently. They have an outdoor bar as well as seating, for when the weather is agreeable. The 2 sets of glass walls will not interfere with the incredible view of the Hudson River and surrounding area.
They have multiple private event options from smaller rooms holding up to 30ish people (i think) and larger room up to 100 guest. Anything more than that you might have to use the hall next door.
We had just about 60 people at our wedding. We used the Sunset Room for the ceremony and True River for reception. It was a wonderful time that we will never forget. As mentioned before, the food and service was excellent for what i feel is quite a reasonable price.
If you are searching for an event location, it will be hard pressed to find a better value for a stellar venue.

I try to write reviews for places that are good or bad. We did the walk over the Hudson then went for lunch. Loved this place. Great food, great view. Contrary to google, it's not overpriced. Service is fantastic.

What an evening!
Did the short menu that paired the appetizer, entree, and dessert with a wine. I skipped the entrée wine because the bold wine and taco appetizer was very satisfying. Did the dessert with a raisin based wine...phenomenal. Fish tacos, lobster pasta, and pumpkin cheesecake dessert, two wines, and one happy customer. Normally I go for the special event five course wine pairing dinners. Tonight I did something similar and it reminded me of those special events that they hold. Sat right where the food comes out of the kitchen - everything coming out of the kitchen looked to be well presented and very appealing. The staff was very friendly and checked in with me periodically.

Lovely location and ambiance, excellent service, but the food was uninspired, thoughtless. On the other hand, it has great potential & is a great place to meet friends

My first time there and won't be my last. Service was absolutely amazing, my party had a train to catch and our server was able to expedite our dinner despite us being almost half an hour behind schedule. Even with dinner expedited we did not feel rushed at all to leave.
Parking: There is limited space in front of the restaurant, you have to go to the bottom of the hill. Be warned there's a staircase that is not stroller or wheelchair friendly.
