Me and my partner celebrated our anniversary here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. The food is outstanding, we each had the filet mignon and it was simply delicious .I have a gluten allergy and they were super understanding and careful with my meal. The view is also an added bonus!Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy- a ton of options.

We were there for a wake. Buffet style event. Calamari was dry. Chicken nuggets bland. Pasta was OK. Deli, veggies, cheese, and fruit table were very good. First time there. Hope that regular menu dishes are cooked to order and taste better. The wair staff was excellent and very attentive. Overall, the look and feel of the restaurant was very nice. Will come back to try regular menu.

Dined here for my birthday it was really nice. The view is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect. The food was delicious and perfectly plated. It looks like the chef takes his time to prepare a beautiful meal. Although on the expensive side, it was worth it.

Easter Sunday dinner was over priced, with terrible waitstaff service. The filet mignon was cold & raw when ordered medium, iced tea was served without ice, bar drink was watered down, we waited so long for waitstaff to come to our table even though there were plenty of waitstaff running around totally disorganized. There was no ambiance whatsoever. Our reservations were made several weeks ago but our table was a table of 5 nestled in between tables of many people. Never again. There is too much competition in the Hudson Valley to put up with this. The worst holiday experience ever.

An uneven experience. Spectacular location with easy parking. Great service, friendly and prompt. Unfortunately the food failed to impress. Crab cakes were presented well but were bland and heavily filled with bread. The raw platter had some of the best oysters I may have ever eaten along with excellent marinated muscles however the shrimp were heavily over cooked and tasted as though they had been frozen.Sorbet for dessert and layer cake were both inspiring. I suspect that some of the other dishes would have been better but our choices left a lot to be desired :-(

I have eaten at shadows numerous times and always leave feeling disappointed, especially after paying what we do for subpar food. The atmosphere is great and the service is fine but if you’re looking for great food it’s not here. Not to mention they overbooked us for Easter brunch and told us 2 days before Easter… when no other places will have availability at this time.

It really all depends on who is on staff, sometimes you have great drinks and the best interactions and then sometimes you get very robotic staff. The food is good, and the drinks are really not that bad but sometimes the staff does not give happy vibes. The ambiance needs to be felt out it's hit or miss

I came to celebrate my birthday a day earlier with my husband . Everything was pretty good, appetizers , etc. After that while waiting for our dinner I requested coffee. I asked if they had stevia since I only drink natural sweeteners. The restaurant did not have it. I was disappointed so I used what they had. The waitress was kind and apologized for not having it. The entree stated that it came with seasonal vegetables. I asked her what type of vegetable it was and she said brussel sprouts. I love them so I was looking forward to them. When the dish was brought out the vegetable was asparagus . Everything looked tasty until I ate the Ribeye and the mashed potatoes. OMG, they were so salty. I ate a few more pieces and I thought maybe it was just me. I asked my husband to taste it and he agreed with me. It tasted like the salt shaker had fallen on the meat. I informed the young lady about it and she asked me if I wanted another one. I told her no because I had eaten about a quarter of it. I just could not eat any more potatoes or meat. The only thing I finished was the vegetable . I really did not enjoy the meal although a percentage was taken off along with 25% that was taken off everyone's meal which was advertised . I had not been there in a long time so I thought maybe i would return. For now I may give them another chance, but for now I will try some other locations in the area.
