Shelly's Deli (Poughkeepsie)

Shelly’s is my favorite deli in the area. As someone that has to eat gluten free when I order my sandwiches here and they ask “separate knife and cutting board?” Just shows how much care they put into making gluten free sandwiches. No other deli in the area asks that. I will always recommend them.

These a are hard working folks who will feed you well!

Expensive. Poor quality. Uncomfortable atmosphere.

This is disappointing to write because we used to eat from here pretty often. Probably won’t anymore.

I tried to place an online order at 2:10 (they close at 3) and online ordering was turned off. Okay, so we’ll go in.

We place our orders and the girl at the register says to my fiancée “I think I’m forgetting something you said” my fiancée says “the bacon” and the girl apologizes. No problem. Then we get home and there’s still no bacon on the sandwich…

I got the ‘grandpa’ sandwich and this is what it looked like inside.

We paid FORTY dollars for the two sandwiches (one was GF for a $4 up charge), 2 bags of chips and two iced teas. We usually order online for pickup because when you walk in the staff ALWAYS looks at you like they want you to leave.

It’s a shame because I feel like it used to be so much better. Hope they can turn it around.

Prepared meals . Catering available if you needit. A big thumbs up here, a short 5 mi . drive from the Culinary and Marist University.

Closed on a Monday at 1130?

I’ve been going to Shelly‘s deli over the last couple of years they’re wonderful people they call me by my first name. I always get the sausage double egg and cheese on a hard roll. Breakfast sandwich always very consistent I also recommend their subs very clean very tasteful very consistent. Keep up the good work Shelly‘s. I hope you’re around for a very, very long time.

Great service. Orders are taken quickly, well prepared, and well crafted. I love their bacon egg and cheese breakfast panini!

I don't know how long this deli has been open but it looks like it just opened. It's a little daunting when you first walk in because you're not sure if they're open or not. My wrap was very good. Had the right amount of meat in it. I got an Italian combo. The girl was very nice. Service was quick. I think they should just make it a little more people friendly when you walk in

Got home, and still hot, first bite was close to family dinners over 48 yrs ago... Grand Slam, Gold Stars across the board.... PHENOMINAL!!! Close to dinner with Grandpa, steamed pastrami & Steak fries... Again Gold Star across the board
