Whenever I'm in Poughkeepsie I make a point to eat here. The pizza is bar none the best I've had outside of the city. Their reheated pizza tastes fresh! And the staff is great

Wow, definitely the best garlic knots I’ve ever had! The pasta was delicious as well. It took a long time for DoorDash to deliver, but the food still arrived hot and delicious!

We accidentally called in a pizza for pickup, and it was supposed to be delivery. They went above and beyond to delivered us a hot fresh pizza. Thank you!

I used to like this restaurant. The quality and service have gone completely down hill. I ordered delivery which was 15 minutes late. The delivery driver could not even follow directions. He rang the doorbell when I said to leave on table on front porch. When I answer the door, he puts the order on the ground in FRONT of the door as I was opening the door. REALLY???!! Pizza was supposed to be cooked well done but it was way undercooked, soggy, and falling apart. Garlic knots were burned with the top of them literally black and hard and tasted burnt. Stuffed mushrooms were burned on top and were so disgusting I threw the rest out. The chicken in the chicken marsala was like rubber. The side of pasta had runny sauce. Nasty food. ???? I spent $67.74 for this disaster. Im never ordering from this place again. Do yourself a favor and order from another restaurant.

I ordered a pie of pizza well done and it was most certainly not cooked well done. The crust was soft and floppy. The slices were basically falling apart. I ordered wings also and they were way overcooked. Burnt to a crisp they were dry and hard. I could not eat them so it was wasted money…

I cannot recommend Mel's enough! I purchased the Holiday Catering Special for a work party and the food was amazing! I added a 1/2 tray of eggplant rollatini and also tortellini primavera and this easily fed 30 people (with leftovers!) My co-workers were raving about the food and I easily said it was all from Mel's. This special catering combo is the perfect mix for any party!!! (I will also add I ordered on Monday morning and picked up Tuesday evening! Quick service as well!!!) 👏

I don't live in the Poughkeepsie area anymore,, but I still think about this place.And it's the first thing that I look forward to when I come back.
