I usually come here and love it today I waited 15 minutes to get a smoothie that taste so nasty. Almost threw up. This was really horrible because for 16 I could of went and enjoyed something else

What a truly miserable experience. I made a quick stop at this location, as I happened to be across the water from my usual spot in Newburgh. I ordered two smoothies using the mobile app and expected them to be ready, but instead, I was forced to wait an extra 20 minutes -a total of 30 minutes for just two drinks. That kind of wait time is honestly wild. This level of inefficiency is a disaster that needs to be addressed. To top it off, the service was completely lacking; the employee didn't acknowledge me, just shoved the drinks across the counter, clearly wanting me to leave immediately.
The picture accompanying this is literally how much chunky bits were in the smoothie after waiting a half hour.

Man, this place fell HARD. I used to have great conversations with one guy about movies when I went last summer; now, the employees slams the drive-thru window as soon as you get your smoothie. Service has absolutely gone downhill at this location and it’s not even funny. I’ve only been here a few times this year just because I feel like my soul is sucked out of my body upon leaving the drive-thru. Is the owner threatening them, because the employees collectively are so miserable. Also, never in the few times I’ve been here this year have the employees’ Smoothie King shirts been clean or been in one piece; the girl with glasses for instance has giant holes around her shirt. That’s another indicator to me that something suspect is going on here.

Went to the drive through today. Person at window was rude when I asked about using the app Promo for bogo drink. I let them know I had the app when placing the order so they knew I had it. Person said they they don’t know what specials or anything they have on the app but then 1) why does it ask During take out if you have the app? 2) i worked At customer services drive through for the majority of my life and part of the job is knowing our specials on our apps or directly in store.
I offered to even wait on the side but was told not to because someone behind me ordered four drinks. I would have waited longer didn’t care I just felt I shouldn’t have been given an attitude when i talked about the app and proceeding with the special in the app?
Then to make matters worse I was given the wrong drinks and makes me wonder if was done on purpose because I wanted to use the app promo? These were for my toddlers and was a special treat so was definitely a sad moment. I tasted the drinks and they tasted good but didn’t have any of the mix ins I ordered for my toddlers.
Lesson learned I guess they don’t want you to use the app or know about it 🤷♀️
Writing this while in line in the drive through. I’ve been here for 20 minutes and only had one car in front of me. I ordered a large gladiator, and I’ve been to other locations- it never takes this long. I’m over it.
