We got take out from sushi House on a Tuesday. May be that was a wrong decision!! The fish was not fresh, you can tell just by looking at them. The tuna roll had a smell which made it almost impossible to eat. I threw out half of them. Me and my son actually had upset stomach the next day. We really wanted to find another decent sushi place in Poughkeepsie, our favorite is bonsai by Starbucks. I guess we will stick to that!

Can't believe I've never visited Sushi House before. The sushi, service vibes and prices were all great. The hot saki is the best of all our local sushi haunts. And so is the miso soup. Will be back.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and attractive. The prices are very fair. And the food is AMAZING- last time we had the most beautiful literal bamboo BOAT of sushi and it was so fresh and beautifully presented. I've been there for lunch and dinner and will continue to return every time I get a sushi craving. The lunch specials are very reasonable as well!Last time we got a free mochi green tea ice cream as well and it was delicious!
