Everything was really fantastic. The food was spot on. The drinks were great, the environment was perfect. Entertainment was spot on. The only problem was the sound system. We had a very difficult time listening to the performer or honestly being able to listen to music. The distortion was crazy. Other than that, it's a first rate venue. Tina burner was on fire ?????

The icecream place with the pancakes has workers that seem very displeased to be there.

Excellent French fries and some good dessert as well. Lots of space.

They don’t have it together. Too bad, thought it was going to be cool.

Night life music is far too loud. Can't even hear myself thinking. My whole body is vibrating. I hate it here

Heather and the staff at The Academy are amazing! From the room setup, table arrangements to the delicious food, everything was wonderful! I will be coming back for many more events and I highly recommend you do the same!

Top notch food when I go for breakfast or lunch in the front area. At night, it's like another venue. Drinks are always on point. Atmosphere is superb and the owners are awesome. Go for a Sunday game or go for date night drinks. They got you covered.

Ordered at the burger place once and they got my order wrong. Tried going here twice in person to eat during regular hours and was told it was closed due to a private event.

Went 2 c SuperTransAm '70's altho it was FREE 2 enter the parking was outrageously high, $6 for a 4 hr parking, yet I must admit I & my fiance had a blast from start 2 finish singing & dancing. I wud luv 2 go 2 sumthin like that again in the near future.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at the Academy in August 2023. The venue is open, spacious and beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. It is way better to experience the indoor and outdoor spaces in-person. Moreover, the food at the Academy is impressive! The servers are friendly, professional and courteous to top it off. I highly recommend the Academy for weddings or special events.

Waste of time and so so glad they purchased a giant Jenna game to add extra ambiance. Love the sound of toy blocks crashing while I try to find something to eat. Oh and finding food is pretty easy there is only one vendor open. My advice eat before you head up to this sleepy little corner in f Poughkeepsie. Came up for a sold out Bardavon show this place is not worth the walk LAME.

I attended a 90’s party here on August 5th and my friends and I were treated horribly. There was a drunk bartender who refused to serve us and when a second bartender came to assist she did not get the drinks correct. We were trying to get her attention to correct when the first bartender came back and instructed her not to serve us and then proceeded to throw a drink at us. When we retaliated by throwing drink back someone in the crowd pushed one of us. In the end we were kicked out, however not the person who attacked my friend was allowed to stay and no one listened to the fact that we did not start this. To be clear we were not drunk and the security did not listen to an independent witness who verified the events. I have to say this felt like discrimination and racism at the highest level and I will not be returning to this establishment.

I went to a 90’s Party ? with four of my friends I had order 3 cranberry with vodka and 1 cup of water I ask one of the bartenders she said she was too drunk to fix it ..but she will have another bartender fix and I said okay cool .. This bartender only filled it up with cranberry juice with no vodka and I ask her politely hey you forgot the vodka.. she tells me I am not dealing with this with an attitude and I said, wait what’s going on? She picks up the cup of water and toss it on my shirt and tells the other bartender don’t serve us .. so I reacted and I threw the cup back. Then a white guy standing at the bar pushed my friend. Security came I told him what happened he said he didn’t want to hear it and told my friends we had to leave, only us, not the guy who pushed us…I ask can I speak to the manager he told me there’a no manger .. I said that’s not true .. I never felt so embarrassed and humiliated in my life .. I will never go back here again .. I feel like they were being racist because never tried to find out the truth even though a witness tried to tell them we were not at fault.
