Recently found out that this place has been under new ownership, same people as Milanese. This explains so much why the quality of coffee has gone done and they've become more of an overly expensive pastry shop. The old owner used to roast all himself and was very knowledgeable about everything coffee. The soul this place once had is completely gone.

The owner greeted us with a warm smile and an incredibly kind heart. We had traveled from out of state, but they made us feel instantly at home, it was like old friends reconnecting. After a great breakfast, we tried the pistachio ice cream and absolutely loved it!

Stopped here today to grab a matcha before my train. It was pretty average for the price… $12 for an iced mocha latte and a small oat matcha. Not bad but not anything fancy for the price. Also very small so if you’re considering dining in I would call ahead.

I ordered the wrong coffee but refused to just swap it out, had me buy another one. Even Starbucks swaps it out for free

Mocha coffee was good, but that is it. Came here Saturday morning. Place was chaotic and no one running front of the house. There was a group of ppl who had commandeer a table meant for sit down. They were just chilling with their take out order. Idk why the staff didn’t kick them out as they were holding a table that cold have had paying customers. They did eventually ask them to leave.

Had the bathroom and ate at the place. While crossing the mid Hudson bridge I realized I had left my back pack there. Went back and it was in the place I had sat it down and the customer that was sitting next to it informed me.she was watching it for whoever forgot it. Good vibes only.

The breakfast sandwich was fresh and fantastic the woman at the counter made the place. Great smile and attitude. Could do with more tables I personally am not a fan of high tops
Got two breakfast sandwiches here, the sandwiches are inedible because they put way too much salt on them. Also waited a really long time for our coffees, service needs improvement. The salt on the sandwiches is inexcusable though do better.

The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. We stopped in this cute place for a small snack and ended up getting an amazing Monte Cristo waffle, iced coffee, and fries.

Hot espresso drinks are now almost BOILING HOT - turn down the heat, PLEASE!! I want hot coffee and espresso, but not to the point that I need to let it sit for 20 minutes just to take a little sip.
I'm thinking this business was sold a couple of months ago because I don't see the owner anymore or any of the staff that I used to recognize. Also, the on-site roasted coffee is gone.
Unfortunately, I wont be back. 3x now in the past couple of weeks, the lattes and similar type beverages that I was accustomed to getting here not only have changed the way they used to make them, but the prices have increased by 25 - 30% overnight with the change in ownership (think the same latte used to be $5.25 and now it's $6.50). Plus, they are ridiculously HOT to the point of scalding your mouth!

oh no! My once tried and true Hudson Valley Coffee Spout has fallen off. I ordered an iced mocha and when my friend gave it to me it had no chocolate.. it was just oak milk in a cup. poughkeepsie coffee shop heart break. ?
