The breakfast sandwiches taste great and the quality of the food seems to be high. The hot chocolate i ordered the first time wasn't hot enough, but the second time, it was great. The attendant had a great attitude and was happy to serve.

I was on a business trip, and this time around, I had the opportunity to do some sightseeing before heading back home. Being Cuban, coffee is LIFE, so stopping in to The Poughkeepsie Grind was definitely the order of the day. Mya was very professional and friendly with great energy, plus we chatted about our love for our respective rings. I had a medium coffee (dark roast, of course), a maple muffin and an egg wrap with onion, avocado and pepper jack cheese. And if reading that makes you drool, wait until you actually taste it. I AM so happy I found a new cafe that I can visit when in this part of Poughkeepsie, and I also love how close (and walkable) it is from the Poughkeepsie Metro North/Amtrak station.

Place seems nice enough and breakfast item was tasty. Had their Egg Wrap w/bacon and it hit the spot. Got an ice coffee and that was very good as well. They serve lunch items as well. However, the place closes at 2:00pm so I am not sure if that is what they are famous for. Plan to try their waffle and other breakfast / brunch items to give a more accurate review.
