Waited 90 minutes for our order which came out one at a time for 2 children and four adults over an hours time. Two of our orders were cold. The taco salad was missing beans, cheese, salsa and sour cream. The barbacoa was grizzly and had very little meat. Will not go back

The fish tacos were good, guacamole was good, and my friend raved over the barbacoa! The tortilla chips that came with the guac (and that are sold separately in-store) are way too greasy. I couldn't enjoy them and had to throw away. The bottom of the bag was filled w/ grease. I'd definitely go back for other items tho! I have high hopes for BIRRIA! Staff was nice!

After reading the reviews about long wait times, we expected to be there for a while — but we definitely didn’t expect two and a half hours. We arrived around 1:15 and didn’t get out until 3:50. Even with the long line, it was discouraging to see people who ordered after us getting their food first.
The food was delicious, especially the tortillas, but the wait really took away from the experience. We had to check on our order more than 6 times, and nothing was offered to make up for the delay — no drink, apology, no partial refund. We also received pico de gallo instead of the chips and guac we originally ordered.
Overall, the food is good, but unfortunately the service and wait weren’t worth it.

Ordered a few things beef menudo was disgusting no hominy as per menu taste was gross no refund given place needs a new change dirty. three people manning a line out the door hr wait not worth the time distant or effort don’t listen to influencers on any app lol

The barbacoa was fantastic. There was a line to order the whole time I was there, so i'm glad they are doing well. Over time they will get into a rhythm/system to improve order turnaround time. Delicious food!

I think this place blew up because of social media, and the restaurant is not equipped to handle this volume of customers. I arrived at 1pm, placed my order by 1:25pm, and as of 2:14pm have still not received my order. It’s a good thing I came on a Saturday and didn’t have to pay for parking, otherwise I would be stressed about moving my car to accommodate the speed of my order. I’m also glad I came alone, because tables are scarce in here.

authentic food, LOVE IT! They might take a bit of time to prepare your order since it’s just the two moms cooking everything fresh, so be patient it’s worth it!

Let's get the reality check out of the way first: This place is currently being hammered by traffic, thanks to that viral YouTube video. Expect a significant wait to get your order. Be mindful that the staff is running ragged trying to keep up with unprecedented demand, so bring your patience. However, if you're prepared to wait, you will be rewarded. Also the owners are very friendly and warm. Means a lot for the mean streets of pk.
