Absolutely delicious! I had the vegan ital stew to go but had to dig in right away. This is the perfect dish when you need something filling, savory, and satisfying. This was my first visit to Upstream and they have gained repeat customer! The staff made me feel at home - such a warm and comforting atmosphere. 5 stars!!!

Wow! This is some authentic home cooking! I got the short ribs special and took it back to my hotel, and I thought it was strange that he didn't give me a knife at first... But when I put the fork into the slice of ribs it went through it like a light saber! I pick up a with my fork and put to my mouth... And it just melted in my mouth Mmmmmm Mmmm! Fantastic flavor! I got collard greens with it, and they were great to! I will be back! The man at the counter was super friendly.

Chanced upon this Jamaican cafe whilst looking for lunch at Poughkeepsie, and we had a delightful experience. We ordered the stew chicken meal, shrimp rasta pasta, and soup - all three were absolutely delicious. Very friendly service by Ashley. It’s by far, the best meal we had since arriving in NY.
