In the never ending hunt for the best #tacos this side of the border, one must cleanse the pallet from time to time. That's when a good burrito comes into play! Holy José, I found a good one! Seriously, it's a 2lb, steak filled, rice stuffed, bean infused delicacy... Small dining room and average prices, and the waitress (Emily) was on point!

This place was great a few months ago. Went back today and it was awful. Chicken in the fajitas wasn't seasoned, just grilled chicken? It seems like they were out of a lot of ingredients since dishes would be described as having a sauce or topping and it was just completely left out. Only one waitress today, no hostess or bartender. It looks like the bar is no longer in operation, all the shelves of liquor are gone, but the beer taps are still there...not sure if they are working. This place went from way above average to way below in a matter of months, I hope they get things figured out before it's too late.

We have visited the Wacky Cactus three times and will likely give it one more chance before writing it off. The first time we were there we had no complaints. Personable waitress, food arrived and was good, hot and what we ordered. We were one of 2 couples there. The second time, we ate outside. Two other couples were there when we arrived and a family arrived after us. Our food took a little longer but not too long a wait. I ordered shrimp enchiladas and soon realized I received chicken. The waitress (not the same one as the first time we were there) seemed overwhelmed and when she finally checked in I asked politely if I ordered chicken or shrimp. She returned and confirmed I ordered shrimp. I ate less than half and she made no attempt to correct my meal or compensate us. In all fairness I didn't ask either but did expect something. On our last visit we both ordered shrimp enchiladas again. We received shrimp chimichangas. Argh! While it's somewhat comical it's frustrating too. Delicious food and nice staff but what gives?!
The food is excellent the wait staff is so friendly and nice and the place is so clean and well taken care of. A great night out. I love it.

This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've seen in this area. While looking for my destination, I stopped with my brother to get something to eat. Curious on their takeout, we went inside and were my best such an impeccable employee Freeman who saw I had my dog in the pouch and suggested we sit outside so he can stay. Instead of doing takeout, we decided to stay from his friendly demeanor. The inside of the place is beautiful and the outside is just as cozy and welcoming. With all the bees still out due to Mother Nature, Freeman moved us inside and we enjoyed our meal there. Iris is an outstanding cook- I even had to stay to get dessert. If you're looking for a comfy, immaculate spot with tasty food, you're looking at a great place. Happy we made this stop today.

Well second trip here we ate on a Tuesday night it was my birthday and was hopping for something good. They let us down with 2 waitresses serving 3 tables we were left to sit with menus for 5 or so minutes without a drink order being taken we did finally order. I made the mistake of ordering my favorite Mexican soup the chicken tortilla soup. We were sitting with empty glasses for another 25 minutes when they brought a gigantic bowl of flavorless yellow broth with crushed up tortillas and shredded chicken one minute later our entrees came out and I had the steak and chicken both of which were dry. My wife had soft tacos which were ok.
