Awesome view.
I really enjoy Zeus Brewery—the beers are solid, the vibe is great, and it used to be one of my favorite spots to bring friends. But I’ve got to be honest: the management changes around food service are baffling.
It used to be that you could order the full menu upstairs, which made hanging out way more convenient. Now, you can’t even get a pizza upstairs. Honestly, what’s the logic here? The atmosphere is still good, but making customers go downstairs just to grab basics like pizza feels like a step backwards.
Still rooting for Zeus to thrive, but management—please rethink this one. You’re making it harder for people to fully enjoy what used to be a seamless experience.

Great spot right near the convention center hotel and the Poughkeepsie train. The place had a good vibe and solid crowd for a Friday night. We sat at the bar and Hunter, our bartender, was super attentive and knew just how frequently to check in. The BBQ chicken pizza was solid. The drinks were a bit pricey for upstate, but they were made strong and tasted great. We will definitely be back!

wings and drinks were great. beautiful rooftop. i just think someone should be aware that the cocktails are advertised for $16 but when the check comes out the drinks are upcharged $2 for a better liquor when not requested. not the biggest deal but i felt weird about it.

Zeus Brewing is a sleek, upscale spot just minutes from the Hudson River and Poughkeepsie train station. The brewpub is a standout in the area with high ceilings, polished finishes, and a clean, modern atmosphere. We didn’t realize until after the fact that there’s a rooftop—so definitely don’t miss that on your visit. The vibe leans more fine dining than pub, making it ideal for a date night or elevated after work drinks.
The food was solid but came with premium pricing. The portions held up though. The Gyro and Crispy Boi sandwich both hit the spot, and the mountain of fries that came with them was unexpectedly generous. On the beer front, the standout was Spicy Boi, a mango habanero blonde ale. It leaned a little thick, but was super smooth with a subtle kick of heat and healthy amount of mango flavor. Zeus is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a brewery experience that feels a touch more refined.
Went her for some Father’s Day brews for my husband and we enjoyed the beers and the food!
The rooftop was nice on a beautiful summer evening, however, the drinks were expensive ($16) and not good, and the food was mediocre. Not worth a return visit.
Good food in a contemporary atmosphere. Not very busy when we were there, but could be noisy when full due to hard surfaces everywhere. Beer was as expected in a modern brew pub - good variety, high quality. Informal and reasonably priced.

My food review is solely based on the one drink I got, which was delicious. Lots of IPAs which isn’t exactly my preference.
Travel for work every week and this place is spot on .Short walk from the Hilton Downtown Poughkeepsie. Food is very reasonable and a good variety. Had the Lamb gyro) .Beer made in house and not all IPA ! .Sours , largers , dark ale ,IPA and pilsners .Burbon selection is vast and not at secondary market prices .Second visit and one of the owner is on premise for the second time which shows he cares .Last but not least a roof top bar over looking the Hudson is not a bad thing .Overall a place I'm comfortable recomending.
I ordered a gyro with chicken instead of lamb & was charged $5. Hello, chicken costs much less than lamb, are you kidding me??!! I love lamb but can't eat it due to dietary issues. Shame on you. The rest of the food was very good. We won't be back & will be sure to spread the word. Return business will increase profits than not having our group not return.
We had a fantastic experience at Zeus Brewing while visiting from out of town. Maria, our server, was absolutely AWESOME —she picked the perfect beer flight for me, and everything she suggested was spot on. The Reuben burger was absolutely delicious, and I can't stop thinking about the peach and basil beer—it was such a unique and refreshing flavor. The hostess also gave us great recommendations for things to do while we’re in town. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
I called for a party of 6 about 10 mins prior to showing up to see how busy it was and if it was even possible to be seated in such a short notice. The host over the phone stated they have a table ready and to just come . So my family and I showed up hoping to be seated right away. I saw the table wasn’t ready. It took 30-45 mins for the waiter to clean the table which never even happened. The host stood there the whole time stating that we would be seated shortly. No one came. Others who came in (party of 3, party of 4) all sat down before us. Long story short, we will NEVER be coming back here. Worst service ever . No one offered to even be seated at the bar. The entrance was small, we couldn’t even sit down while “waiting”. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Don’t come here . The atmosphere is for the young college kids. My mom even tried to buss her own table 🤣🤬 for her RETIREMENT celebration. So we went down the street to the Italian place which was wayyy better!
This was 10/26/24 Saturday around 6:30-7pm.
Regardless of time or day the service here sucked
