Beekman Square is an old and well-known establishment in the area. However, in the food department, it struggles to stand amongst the quality of the others on the strip.
Pros: The service is always very good, and there's lots of food variety. You can come for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anything in between.
Cons: The food itself is lacking in quality, after giving it multiple tries it still just isn't great. It's also pricy. The atmosphere is lacking on one half of the building while the side with the bar is pretty great with a classic diner feel. For whatever reason it smells of mold.
Kid-friendliness: Didn't ask, but the kids look pretty frendly there.
While all the food that everyone had was perfect my carrot cake was not good at all. It smelled like the refrigerator and the nuts were soft and soggy. Really disappointed because thats all I ordered. I should have realized that half a cake was sitting in there awhile.
