The food quality has changed and to much salt now in just about every dish that's ordered. The waitress are wonderful. They need to put quality back in the food.

I have lived near this diner for over 9 years now. Although I pass it often, there is something about the dark curtains that seem to be always closed that was not inviting. Perhaps it's just me, but I like to look in a restaurant and see people laughing and enjoying their meal. I digress. My wife and I met another couple there at their suggestion. Immediately upon entering, I was impressed by the ambiance and warm greetings. Because all of us, for one reason or another, we're cooties adverse we a asked to be seated away from what seemed to be a cluster of people. Perhaps that is easier for the wait staff. Our request was honored with ease since this place is deceptively large. I ordered my "test meal", chicken parm with spaghetti ?, extra sauce. I posit that this is so basic that if any restaurant can't make that plate well, the prognosis is negative for anything more complicated. Also ordered was a BLT and a Cobb salad. The service was very good ?? food presentation was excellent, and there was a good time had by all. The BLT and the Cobb salad got thumbs up ??. I liked the flavor of my chicken ? parm also. Bland food is a problem in this area. My only slight complaint is that my chicken breast was appropriately thick but slightly overcooked. NOT A DEAL BREAKER AT ALL. I would rather have a thicker cut that was a little dry than the thin cutlets that are being floated as an adequate meal. The bathroom was clean and odor free. I absolutely would return to them again.

I've been coming here for 8 yrs since I moved to the neighborhood. Food is always great, I have never had a bad meal here. Love this and the people who work here are wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough!!!!Parking: Always parking available!!!

We were traveling in the vicinity of the restaurant and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. My wife and teenage children all ordered their favorite items off of the menu.Our waitstaff was wonderful, quick, and very attentive.Our food all came out of the kitchen hot and delicious.I'd highly reccomend this wonderful place to any local or passer by. :)Dietary restrictions: They will do their best to accommodate any diet or allergy restrictions you might have.Just inquire about it.Parking: The parking is directly in front of and adjacent to the entrance.Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of kid friendly options.

I always ot most times dine in. Food is good people are friendly. I know the cook personally, he is a great cook. I've worked with Oscar at another place for years until they closed down. Was very excited to hear that he cooks at the Beekman Square diner now.

I’m never ordering take out again. This is the 3rd time I’ve been disappointed. Every order , they forget something. This time they forgot to send a breakfast sandwich. I’m so disgusted with the take out that I don’t even want to dine in anymore. The food is only mediocre. I’ve had much better at other diners. Never ordering or dining in again. I’ll drive out of my way to eat at another diner. I’m done here.

Visited this morning (11/11/23) for breakfast. Was my first time here having come from Florida to visit my daughter, son in law, grandson and my newborn grandson. Thought to come here with my son in law & grandson to give my wife and daughter some alone time with the little newborn. Food was very good, service was good, friendly people, overall a very good and comfy place to eat. I will be back again next time I come this way for a family visit. Thanks for a nice breakfast !!
