Very cool out of the way small bar and restaurant. We almost drove by the place as it is in the midst of houses and camps along the shore. The owner Amy was congenial and interesting. We learned a lot about the surroundings and some activities that happen nearby. Did not get to try the food unfortunately, but I saw some good reviews. Will try to get back there sometime.
Understaffed and stressed out staff. We felt bad for our bartender. She had just started her shift and was already looking forward to leaving. It was not busy, but, the staff seemed overwhelmed, in my opinion.
I've lived in Sandy Pond for 2 years and have had the opportunity to get to know the locals and owner of Amy's Eddie's Cove. I have always had a great time, great service, excellent food, good live music, and even better company. This is a small local establishment that gets a bit more traffic than usual during the holidays, especially Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Please be mindful of this if you are visiting during those times. The long wait times...
