Wide variety of delicious Carribean food!!

Lalita \u0026 Tushar

Fazila catered our Guyanese Hindu wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club.

Her restaurant prepared traditional Guyanese 7 curry along with vegetarian appetizers and dishes like vegan fried rice and chowmein.

We also catered pone for our henna night.

Fazila had great customer service. She knew I was nervous about logistics of serving 7 curry at a non Guyanese venue and she spent several meetings both in person and at the venue finalizing operational details.

She advised on the correct amount of food and introduced us to items that we didn’t previously consider like sweet plantain for the appetizers and ambrosia salad for dessert. We had the appropriate amount of food and variety! She ensured we spent our money wisely.

Overall, she was a joy to work with during this planning process.

Now the most important part, the quality of the food - it was delicious!

When my husband and I finally sat down to eat we were so delighted to eat the 7 curry that tasted homemade and had the right amount of pepper.

Our guests told us that they enjoyed the food a lot, even our guests that flew in from Guyana!

I appreciate Fazila’s honesty, hard work, and quality!

Fazee’s was recommended by a family member when I was looking for catering done items for my event. I’ve had their daal puri roti in the past and it has always been great. I needed a few extra things this time, so I decided to try.

We ordered daal puri, oil roti, beef patties, and a mix of pastries.

The daal puri is great, no complaints.
The oil roti was mediocre, a lot of oil and not as soft as I’d expected.

The pastries were also mediocre, not really what I’d expected from what I’ve normally had for Chinese cake and pine tart, but the cheese roll and buns were good.

The beef patties were not what I expected, they were made in cupcake size, cupcake sized beef patties! They were like mini pies! Didn’t really taste good, unfortunately.

I’d definitely recommend for their daal puri roti, but not anything else from what I’ve tried. Sorry, just wasn’t meeting my expectations.

Bought a tray of mithai to send away to my sister-in-law in Florida because it’s that good, but when I got home and open the tray it was soggy. I guess the extreme heat during summer and how the mithai was stored at Fazee’s ruined the texture of it. The owner apologized and offered to replace the mithai, and with a pick up time that was convenient for me. Great customer service. Thank you.

This place has the best Guyanese pastries compared to all the other Guyanese restaurants around the Hollis / Jamaica area. The curried fish is also amazing just as if you cooked it yourself. I highly recommend stopping by and trying out the freshly baked “Pine Tarts” - the best I’ve had so far!

Bought 2 trays of Baara and Baigan, it was soaked in oil, ended up throwing it away. I called the store regarding the issue and was told someone would call back, still no call.

Picked up food today duck curry was still frozen when brought home they gave me regular roti instead of dhal puri. Food and service use to be on point now it's just like the regular roti shops very slow and tastless.

I was told to try this place out , do i did , boy ! What a waste of my money that was ?
I ordered 100 and something dollar worth of stuff
Roti , dhall puri, fried rice , fish cake, fry fish plantain chips sarnee and mathi.
The staff were very nice snd accommodating try really hard to get everyone order right, the ladies in the kitchen looked tired and overworked...., the day i went into the restaurant it was very busy that day .
The owner herself was very nice checking on everyone and making sure their order was correct and giving out free samples etc .
The restaurant was clean and organized
The food look very good but looks can be deceiving all the roti i ordered was terrible! Big ,thick and under cooked gummy raw texture, same with the fish cake barely had any kind of fish at all it was under cooked gummy raw texture, the dhall puri had no taste , the fried rice was mushy had no taste i wouldn't call that fried rice at all, the plantains chips in the package some was crisp and some were chewy and cold it was like they put it into the bags when it was hot, the mathi was spongy lots of custard powdered, the fry fish and the sarnee was the only thing i got that taste ok .
Yes they were busy thats no excuse for under cooked tasteless food! you gotta make sure the food is cooked properly you cant want plenty business and serving bad food !
I wouldn't be going back there ever! And i don't recommend anyone buying there either.
