Great food. Great fritaille. Sometimes there's a wait. Its best to call ahead before getting your food.

Coming in you'll see trays upon trays behind a glass panel FULL of fried meats. The smell is just incredible. Based on reviews, I did call ahead to ask how long it'd take and in 15 minutes, I was at the shop with a very generous helping of fried pork, pickled vegetables, chicken stew sauce, salad, and a WHOLE platter of rice.Look, just call ahead. See what the wait is like. When I came in, it was start to rain and it was around 415. Even then, there was a family ahead of me. Just be patient. As for those that don't speak french creole and are scared to come in. Don't be. They know a bit of english too. Worst case scenario? Just point and choose. Whatever, it's damn good, home style haitian food. Nothing fancy to discuss. Come visit!

I hate these people . They always make you wait for an extremely long time to order or get your food . The food is okay but not worth the wait . The workers are unresponsive and inconsiderate. They have horrible customer service and no hospitality . Its people like this that create the stereotype that Caribbean food workers are rude. When will we get something hip and friendlier, better or even cheaper (lunch special) service ? I asked for a plate and was told to wait 5-6 minutes . I gave them 10 . When I came back it was evident that no one was told to prep my food because the same guy I gave my order to finally whispered to a worker in front of me to prep my food . That's not the first time either . Fuk heavenly fritaille

Poor customer service. Waited for almost an hour and they gave my fritay to a Spanish lady, then they talk to me like I was begging for food. And they never want me to choose what I want in my fritay, mind you I’m allergic to akra and don’t really like fried plantains. They need to work on their customer service.

My experience:(1) Something is always missing; i.e., either the fried plantains that that's supposed to be served with all entrees or the salad.(2) Their Griot (Fried Pork) dish is such a small portion for $14 that they cover it with the fried plantains hoping that the customer does not notice.(3) The servers talk a lot over the food; they should wear face masks.(4) The place overall looks unclean.

Great Haitian restaurant. Could be cleaner. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Limited choice of foods. Overall, especially compared to other Haitian restaurants in the area, and mainly because the food is above par, this restaurant deserves a B.
