Needed a spot near the taconic for lunch and this place was just what I needed. Happy for the reviewers before me which helped me decide so I knew I needed to leave one of my own. You won’t be disappointed! There’s food options for everyone. Their Sriracha Chicken Sandwich was amazing! We asked for grilled chicken as a substitute and they were happy to make it for us. Will definitely be back when I’m driving through these parts of NY. Thank you!!
We enjoyed a nice breakfast here! Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and the breakfast burrito. All were delicious. The place is very cozy and the staff were really kind and

Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down. And the food quality was great. Staff very friendly. Great place to stop on the road from NYC.

I asked how the Honey Sriracha Fried Chicken Sandwich was, and I was told it was great -- one of the most popular dishes! Well, the "fried chicken" is a four-inch circular frozen "chicken" "patty" like you'd find in the deep recesses of an abandoned supermarket frozen aisle section. It's worse than any generic fast food you'd order, let alone something that is served in a seated establishment. It's most likely not even chicken. The other food ranged from poor to fine, and I understand that there aren't a ton of options in this area. But there is a giant Hannafords within driving distance ... just get your own groceries and make a delicious meal at home.

Welcoming, friendly and really good food. Glad we found this place on our drive north.
Lunch Menu dishes were not edible! We got 4 different plates and paid nearly $100, waste of money, time and appetite. So sad!

Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! Super cute with the owner there both times I have been. The food is delicious, drinks are excellent and the atmosphere is very quaint and rustic in the best way possible ?.
My fiance and I ate here after picking out our Christmas tree and both of us with certainty said that this was the absolute worst meal we've both ever had--we actually started laughing when we saw the food come out. My fiance ordered a grilled cheese and what came out was slices of COLD cheese between two hamburger buns. I ordered something called a Fiesta Bowl--what I received was a microwaved combination of rice, beans, and vegetables and some tasteless sweet potato cubes with brown avocado. It was actually similar to the food that I was given when I was in the hospital, except for that was actually seasoned. The kicker is that this experience was also insanely expensive. Would highly recommend going literally anywhere else.

We stopped here on the way back from getting our Christmas tree. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive and everybody enjoyed their lunches. Only suggestion would be that it took quite a while for the food to come out (and the restaurant was not crowded at all). We enjoyed some beers and good conversation while waiting for the food to come out, but it was a noticeable wait.

Great place to get a bite after hiking or swimming in the nearby parks. Food is good and restaurant is authentic and simple.
