Stopped in for a sandwich after a morning of hiking. Very quick and friendly service. Very covid complaint. Cute, eclectic decor. Food was delicious and fresh.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The place is busy but never unpleasantly crowded. Great burgers and fries. A wonderful, unusual tuna sandwich (not tuna salad, but a nice-sized piece of cooked-to-order tuna) with a spicy sauce and vegetables. Always fresh bread including a NYC-style bagel with lox and cream cheese. Actually every sandwich and side dish I have tried is first rate. There are also a few large refrigerator cases with take-away drinks, fresh salads, great Thai noodles and tasty, stuffed hard-cooked eggs. I regularly bring visitors to J&J's for a fine lunch. And the prices are reasonable.

This review is long overdue, but I never remember to leave reviews after I go places! Was passing through on my way home from a Hudson Valley trip. Stopped in for some coffee and the baked goods looked so tempting I grabbed some of those too. The pastries and the crumble topped pies were awesome! Everything was so fresh and very tasty. The pie crust was flakey and flavorful and not like the cardboard pie crust so many places have!The atmosphere is open and airy and feels super welcoming. Will definitely be back!
