I always recommend this place as a first stop when anyone comes to the to visit. Great food, good view, lovely local market nearby, and goats! It's a perfect introduction to Red Hook and Tivoli.
Had our first meal here tonight and it was five stars across the board. The Mac n cheese was the best I've had in ages -- crispy bread crumbs and creamy noodles with a kick -- and the potato salad, slaw and kale salad were all winners. The brisket was of course, great, but almost outdone by the rest of the delicious sides!
