Fun apple orchard and cidery where you can go apple picking or just hang out in the cidery with apple donuts, cider, beer, or wine, and light bites. There was even an oyster pop-up tent by the cidery when I was there. I highly recommend the sparkling cider and apple cinnamon donut - both were very delicious.
I had my dog with me and the cidery is dog-friendly but the apple picking part unfortunately is not. Something to be aware of if you’re bringing your furry friend along for the outdoor adventure.
Excellent spot!
Absolutely loved it! We went last weekend (in the middle of January) on a Friday afternoon, and there was plenty of seating in the tap room barn. The bar tender was really kind and gave great recommendations based on our tastes, and let us try a little sip of something before we ordered a glass. The tap room was very cozy and relaxing, and overall it was just a fantastic experience. We'd definitely go again.
Oh, and most importantly - the ciders, wines, and co-ferments were all fantastic! I don't drink often but they were definitely worth it.
Highly recommend!
I will give this place 2 stars simply because the taproom is beautiful & I loved the way it was decorated - for the staff that was working behind the bar, I will give them a -5 star rating - the woman & man working behind the bar were SO INCREDIBLY RUDE I never post reviews but felt this one was really needed - this was my first time at the winery & I was really looking forward to coming here as my group & I were exploring different wineries in the area - my friend and I asked to taste 4 wines MAX as we were interested in buying a bottle and were trying to figure out which one we wanted to buy - the middle aged woman who helped us made a comment that I was ‘tasting too many wines’ on their menu, isn’t that the whole point of a winery? To figure out what you like? After finally finding a wine that I somewhat liked (truthfully I wasn’t 100% on any of the wines) & feeling the rushed / rude energy from both of the staff (both a female and male) I left the counter to go sit down with my friends and as I was walking away I heard the woman say to the man behind the bar ‘well that was the worst experience I ever had’ and both laughed - WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? Especially since both my friend & I bought a bottle - insanely rude and I will never be coming back here - the energy that these two staff gave off was horrible and swarmed the room in an uncomfortable way
don’t know how good the apple cider donuts were - didn’t try them
Yummy ciders, and wines, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the food trucks were great too!
good place
Such a beautiful taproom! Arrived on a Sunday afternoon. There wasn't much seating left inside, but we were able to sit at the bar. There is plenty of outdoor seating with tables and umbrellas, and snacks are available for purchase . The ciders were delicious, and I hope to try the wines my next visit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish they offered tasting flights. They also have a huge selection available to buy by the bottle. This is a great place for a group where you can buy a few bottles and sample them. I'll definitely be back!
Loved this spot
The farm is beautiful. But you pay for it. Atmosphere is great, but for us - the hard cider just wasn’t worth it.
Restaurantji Recommends
Fantastic selection, very good access to a variety of apples. Delicious, hot, fresh apple cider donuts. Nice restaurant on site, indulged in some oysters and hard cider. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Love their cider.
Had such a great return visit today to enjoy their wines and the pizza pop up. Great vibe, lovely grounds: terrific place to chill, enjoy a couple drinks and take in the air.
I held a small party for work friends at Rose Hill. Beautiful setting, nice staff and great food and drink. If you like beer, wine, cider or fresh picking- you will be glad you gave them a try. Thanks for a fun time.
Bit pricey. But great atmosphere. Outside sitting and inside are both nice. Barn like setting. You could walk around. Makes for a good afternoon trip
