As a Singaporean who misses home and my region, I hope this place never closes. Had a great bakmi komplit (chicken noodles iirc) when we went a few weeks ago. Service was great too.

Get the chicken satay, curry puffs, noodles, or the curry dishes! This place is amazing! We've been twice only but fully intend to be back.

Blessed to live in a city that's home to the peoples of the world and their wonderful cuisines. Malaysian/Indonesian this week. Yanti is a friendly hostess! Food is great and lunch specials are priced just right!

This is a mixed review. The food, service and decor is very good. The only minus is that the portions are too small for the prices charged.

Excellent Malaysian/Indonesian dishes in a local neighborhood setting. Beautiful interior decor.
Start with the Calamari, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Fried Tofu.
Chicken Curry with Potato is outstanding! Excellent as part of Nasi Lemak but we crave more so we get as main dish too. Perfect with Crab Fried Rice. Chunky crab meat crab meat over fluffy fried rice and eggs. Lady Finger Belacan round out a balanced fare.
El Cendol dessert is yummy with Iced Coffee.
A great addition to Rego Park foodscape!

I ordered take out from here for the first time yesterday and again today for their lunch special. Their food is really good! I got their Ayam Mie Komplit (chicken noodle) and their Hainanese chicken. Both were delicious and a must try!! For the lunch special I got today, I tried their satay chicken skewers over rice and Nasi Lemak, which were also delicious.
For my halal eaters, I called ahead of time and the server confirmed that their meat was halal, which was great news for me cause I was looking for a halal restaurant near me.
I haven’t personally visited the restaurant yet, but my husband did to pick up the food. He said it was nice, clean and big, but was surprised to see it was empty. Since the food is so good, I really hope more people start coming because they deserve more traction! Also, the servers are pretty nice over the phone, so all around five stars for now!
Dietary restrictions: Meat is halal!

Walked in got seated immediately near some boxes but we were hungry so we didn’t care too much. The place itself was nicely decorated. Got waters noticed something floating in my water asked to get it changed they did so immediately.
I put in an app and two entrees I got the roti canal and noodles in like 5 mins. The chicken for the noodles were cold in the stir fried noodle dish. The roti canai was decent and came out hot.
The last dish was the problem we waited around 40 mins finished all of our other food. The waiter goes to clear our plates and immediately I ask where the last entree was. We were still very hungry at this point. She had went to go tell the kitchen to make it and it took another 30 minutes just to get the dish. We had at this point already asked for the check and upon receipt the food comes. We prob would have stayed and it smelled and looked good but it was rushed back to the kitchen after we said we already cancelled. A missed opportunity to fix the situation. I know this place is still relatively new but they seem incredibly understaffed. I hope they do well because it is a family business and there is so much they can improve on. I think there is potential and maybe in a quick fix when I’m not starving I’ll give it a try. Was mainly upset to have to leave hungry.

To me, it was better than most Indo places in Queens at least. The Mie Ayam is really good and their Char Kway Teow is delicious.

Alhamdulillah, one more halal restaurant in Queens (I confirmed with the owner, they use halal meat/poultry). No pork on the menu. Please consider to put a halal neon sign on your window, so everyone can try your delicious food without doubt.

Nice, new restaurant in Rego Park. The Hainan Chicken was pretty nice looking and well-flavored. Service was pretty fast too (around 10 minutes for 2 orders). Price for the lunch special is pretty fair. Very good and will likely return again.
