Truly sad at the service we experienced here on a family dinner yesterday. As long time patrons, I remember a time when you came for good food and good service. Sat for 45 mins without service or water for the table. Had to approach the people in front who were servicing only two other diners on this evening. The main waiter was not attentive and lackadaisical. Not particularly friendly, which was a shock for how many years we've been having family dinners here. $7 for a small serving size of rice was laughable. In an attempt redeem the awkward experience, we wanted to try some of their desserts but the waiter never brought a menu even after asking twice. Maybe he had a lot on his mind. Will not be coming back.

I happen to be in this area for an appt and was starving ! Didn't take me long to look around my surroundings and just Walked in and was happy to see how cute and clean it was inside ! The food was delicious, excellent atmosphere, great price and the service was good. The free glass of wine w a fish entree offer is non existent. That was disappointing. The food made up for that though !

Was looking for a nice place for Easter. Let me tell you couldn’t have selected a better place. Fish was all fresh, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was beautiful, if I could give 10 stars, I would. Met the owner Ali. What a gentleman. We will definitely be returning.

Great Meat with Good Rice , the Feta Cheese is very good also. A lot of Big Bread is given also with the food. A Wonderful Restaurant in New York City.Kid-friendliness: Great food for the Kids.
Their menu just says “small” and “large” and doesn’t tell you how many pieces you get. So in case anyone is wondering it’s $20 for one and $30 for 2 lamb adana kebab (which is insanely overpriced).

I had a disappointing experience at Blacksea And Grill. The service was slow, the food lacked flavor, and the overall atmosphere felt dull.The rice tasted very plain, almost resembling school-served rice. It lacked any distinct flavor, contributing to the overall disappointment of my dining experience, my family was very disappointed, wasted about $250+, we won’t be returning ever.

Very authentic and classy looking Turkish restaurant. They have a very nice lunch special too - entree with salad. We had the chicken shish kabob and the adana kabob here. Both of these meats were quite flavorful and juicy. The meal comes with some fresh bread to start off too.They had a good selection of desserts too. We tried the halva and the rice pudding. The halva was a dense tahini based block. It was actually too sweet for our tastes. The rice pudding though was excellent and highly recommended.
