Even though my kids had been here several times, it was the first time for me. Stopped by for a brunch, and I'm not sure if I'll come back given the wide variety of restaurants in the neighborhood. The place was not packed, but busy on a weekend, and the waiter service was fine. But the kitchen, however, was in the rush I guess. I eat my steak medium, but when it comes to the ground meat, aka burgers, I don't really trust anyone and prefer medium-well or even well done, don't judge, it's just me. Well, I understand that the patty is pretty thick in these burgers, but request is a request. Both our burgers came in almost raw instead. Had to send them back, regret not taking a photo. And it took almost 15 additional minutes to get them back and then one didn't have either tomato or onion slices as originally ordered. Had to request it separately and waited about 5 more minutes. It's not a fine dining place, it's a quick brunch in NYC, so waiting for so long is not acceptable. Sorry, maybe kitchen was short-staffed that weekend, but that was my experience hence an honest review.

Decided to come here with my family. As i open the door for my other 6 family member the welcoming of the restaurant was not delightful. A older gentlemen at the door, older white man in his 70s - 80s year of age began yelling aggressively because one door was open for me to allow my family to come in. The staff can be more welcoming and have a nicer approach. The food was great! The coffee was delicious i would love to come Back if the service was nicer. So 4 stars is my review

I heard about this from other people in the neighborhood but didn’t really believe it could be this bad until I experienced it myself. Frozen Costco food but Michelin star attitude.
My friends and I, visited the restaurant for a birthday celebration. We brought a cake and were charged $2 per person to cut and serve the cake, disappointing, but ok. Our waiter, for lack of a better term, left much to be desired. While I tried to be patient at first with his forgetfulness and lack of speed, our group left the restuarant vowing never to return. He forgot several items, made awkward comments and when it came time for the bill, he made mistakes on the bill. When given cash and a credit card, most people understand that you use the cash first and then charge what is left on the cc - apparently, he did not know this and I can only assume he thought he was getting over $100 tip. He then charged the card, not once, but twice. So now, we're all upset and ready to go. The so called manager said he could not give back the cash which the waiter had in his hands while standing next to him AND that she would have to wait until the morning so that they could remove the overcharge. While this used to be a restaurant we frequented over the years, this experience definitely solidified the fact that we will NOT be returning.
