Long time establishment in Queens. I understand that there is new management but the food and service remains the same. The bar is a nice place to sit and have Oysters and cocktails early evening. It's not on the pricey side, but not anymore than other quality restaurants. Somedays reservations are probably advised but most of the time you can walk in.

Several years ago, I made a reservation at this restaurant for 15 people to celebrate my father's 78th birthday. It was the week before Christmas. The restaurant was packed. Our main course was served. My father took a couple of bites of his steak and he suddenly felt like he was choking. He became clammy and I thought he might be having a heart attack. I asked the waiter to call for an ambulance. The manager came over to our table and told me that if the paramedics came into the restaurant then it would disturb the other patrons. He went on to say that he had another large group coming in for a Christmas party and if our dinner was delayed then they might not be able to seat that party on time. He asked if we could please take my father out of the restaurant and walk him down Woodhaven Boulevard to the next corner where the FDNY ambulance was stationed. My brother took my father to the ambulance and then he was taken to the hospital. I remained in the restaurant and paid the bill and said goodbye to our guests. I vowed never to return to this restaurant again. The sheer callousness of the management and staff was shocking. I was thoroughly disgusted by them all and to be honest, the food was mediocre at best.

Not what it use to be. Coleslaw is free again but you would think they can afford it for the high end restaurant it's suppose to be. Alaskan king crab and steamers are what I usually go there for. Unfortunately they ran out if steamers my last time there. King crab was Costco quality and $190/pound was quite steep even for midtown prices.

I've been here three times under the new ownership and inevitably things are going to change. It's not going to be the same as it was with Les but change should be for better, not for the sake of change .

This place had one of the best coleslaws I ever had in my life but I ordered it last night and it was obvious that they changed the recipe; who puts diced green bell pepper in coleslaw? and why change or alter a perfectly good recipe? The slaw went from great to just ok.

The Sunday brunch menu looks great. I haven't tried it yet but they are trying new things and overall, they seem to be maintaining the same general standards and service so we shall see what unfolds in the future.

LONDON LENNIES NOW HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY A NEW OWNER!! It is no longer the sophisticated classy place it once was. The complementary cole slaw that has been a stable of the restaurant for decades now costs $5 a plate. The menu has also decreased in size and is lacking classic favorites like the steamers. It is a shame, we have been coming here for years and were left disappointed.

The food was really good, the lobster was perfectly cooked, and didn't take long for us to get served. Everything was well seasoned and tasted amazing. Our server was really kind as well :D.

Reservations are suggested for the evenings when there are popular celebrated days or holidays and just in general as they are known to stay busy. Valet parking is the norm due to the scarcity of street parking. Don't let that discourage you though - it's worth the trip there! Fantastic selections of fresh fish and seafood and they definitely hold their own if you are a meat eater. I have never been disappointed visiting this establishment and ALWAYS leave satisfied!

New ownership takes over and becomes greedy and practically doubles the price on the menu. Such a disgrace to do that to the loyal customers and community. After going there for over 20 years we won’t be back at all!

We had a lovely lunch for 12 people on a Saturday to celebrate an 80th birthday.
Food and service were terrific. The restaurant has a warm and friendly vibe. Our waitress Maritza was exceptional taking care of everything. Standout menu items were baked clams, scallops, deviled eggs, steak frites. We will definitely be back!
