Marani has a phenomenal staff and atmosphere starting from the moment you walk in.

The food is phenomenal and the service is quick but not overbearing.

I would recommend that you start with a variety of the starters and work your way up to a main dish.

The napoleons and cookie cigars along with mint tea is the perfect end of the dinner

This restaurant is such a hidden gem!! I've been to the Rego Park mall so many times but never thought to see what was behind it. I'm so glad that we decided to check out Marani. First of all, the customer service was impeccable! My friend and I were saying that it felt like we were in Europe, lol. The staff were attentive and didn't rush us through our meal. The restaurant was relatively quiet when we visited, which was nice. I liked the layout and simplicity of the decor. All of the food that we tried, with the exception of one thing, were amazingly delicious. ? We had the eggplant with a nut puree and pomegranate seeds as an appetizer (easily a five-star dish!), followed by the lamb and salmon kebabs, sweet potato fries, and bulgur with spinach and mushrooms. Everything was super tasty! We also tried the Georgian bread, fried cornbread (only thing we weren't a fan of), cigarette dessert, and local seltzer water. I hope to go back and try more of their delicious cuisine!!

Absolutely delicious, one of a kind restaurant.

This is the only kosher Georgian restaurant in the states. It combines heimish atmosphere with an elevated dining experience - much more cozy than most high-end kosher restaurants in the city.

The owner was kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with our party regarding a severe walnut allergy. She knew exactly which dishes were safe from cross-contamination from walnuts.

The food was a traditional Georgian fare, with generous portions for the entrees. If you’ve never had Georgian food, expect a mixture of spices and herbs from the many regions Georgia acts as an in-between to - especially cilantro.

Overall I’d say this restaurant is well-worth the shlep from the city.

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating and informative on food allergies

Food, drinks, and service were good, restaurant is nicer than we expected. Unfortunately we came here for the cheese boat and they no longer serve them.
