I ate here once and thought the food was good. The staff was also very nice. I went again and as soon as the food was placed down, a roach ran across the table. I won't be returning.

Cockroach everywhere!I went there twice and both of the time there were cockroaches running on the table and even found one in the rice, cooked! I just had to keep my vomit inside. I will never go back! horrible experience!

Great food! Food took a while to be ready but expected given that everything is made fresh. Service was good overall. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, felt very cozy.Major complaint would be the cochroaches! We saw a cochroache on the table besides us and several on floor. Many people had reported the same issue in the previous reviews and has not been addressed by the owner. It's unfortunate because I loved the food but I doubt I would return again due to this issue.

as a turk, this was definitely the WORST experience i’ve ever had with a turkish restaurant in nyc. i ordered delivery last night on doordash, 4 items. the hunkar begendi, sigara borek, stuffed grape leaves, and mixed pide. firstly, half my order was missing. i never received the mixed pide or the sarma (stuffed grape leaves). then when my boyfriend and i split the hunkar begendi, it was DISGUSTING. it tasted like chemicals, or like there was plastic or some other unnatural flavoring in it, we couldn’t even eat it. so disappointed in this experience

Chicken saute is juicy and fantastic and soup was so delicious and mixed with plenty of spices + I also liked the softness and taste of fresh breads

Went in on a Saturday morning. No one was there but empty plates on table and people in kitchen. Waited for my date for 5 mins and ate at a lovely Peruvian place a couple of doors down.

The food was great & the waiter was VERY nice & diligent & that’s the one reason I’m giving 5 stars. Sadly, while I was there a table ordered their food and the cook made the main dish before appetizers…which resulted in the waiter being yelled at/degraded in front of everyone. I felt extremely bad for the waiter because this clearly wasn’t her fault. The kitchen staff needs to do A BETTER JOB !
