First time eating here. Food seemed very authentic and tasted good. You order at the counter and they bring it out when ready. I had a steak quesadilla and partner for enchilada Verde, which was alittle different then we're used to. Very good authentic Mexican.

Our group of 5 came in on a Friday night during dinner rush, small family run place that was obviously understaffed that day with only 2 people on, so we were prepared to be patient for our food. Appetizers were delivered at a good pace, I heard a food processor running from the kitchen so things were being made on the fly. The whole dinner from order to finish was 2 hours but it was totally worth the wait. We ordered a range of dishes: salsa, guacamole, eggs with longaniza sausage, shrimp and chicken fajitas, birria quesadilla, beef stew. Everything was very flavourful and cooked well, even the rice and beans were seasoned beautifully that they stand on their own, we will order extra the next time. We try a lot of Mexican restaurants and this is definitely one of the best in the Capitol Region. I would have given 5 stars except they don't make their own tortillas, but maybe some day...

Very authentic food!! Perhaps the most authentic and well done in the Capital Region. I lived in Texas for 7 years and ate a ton of authentic Mexican restaurants. The server didn’t speak English very well but the owner did. He is originally from Mexico. We got tacos, tamales, carne asad, and chips and guacamole. There was a little bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Let’s support this place!

Ordered birria tacos, was very disappointed. Had minimal flavor, the tortilla was like eating the body of christ at church. Would have gotten a better tasting meal at taco bell for less than half the price. I was very excited to try this place because it had good reviews, but half my 2/4 of my tacos had a thin layer of meat/onion/etc.

We came here for the first time tonight and the food was amazing! We walked in very close to closing and they welcomed us to sit down and enjoy the meal and it did not disappoint. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the flavor was amazing. Family run and amazing atmosphere. Will definitely become a regular stop for us.
