Anthony Bourdain said to have a beer in an empty pub, and that's what I did here.Doubles as a homebrew store.What I loved about this place is that the styles are either old school - think English IPA or oatmeal stout - or straight up historical. Definitely a change of pace. I enjoyed all the beers I tried.Owner was super knowledgeable and friendly.Prices were good, and I'm glad they were open on a Monday, which isn't the case for even the bigger brewpubs in town.Old...
Friendly people. Usually hit up with Roger at the bar but tonight it was Dom along with a very nice couple from Poughkeepsie. Road trip it is to the culinary paradise nearby. So, yes, atmosphere and bar is very friendly. And the beer is good too.
