We were there today around 12:10 pm and the door was closed rang the bell no answer.

This is the most underrated restaurant in the entire east coast. The food is home style, absolutely authentic. The decor is spartan and you know upon walking in, that the entire focus is on the taste. It is run by a family of Myanmarese immigrants who know what they are doing. And so so affordable! Vegan and vegetarian friendly!

We stopped here for lunch while passing through town and everything we ordered was delicious. Great value, where else can you get a lunch that includes soup, salad, an entree and dessert for less than $10?! The place is unassuming but don’t let that stop you. I’m a fan of south east asian cuisine but this was my first time trying Burmese food and it did not disappoint. If I lived closer, I’d be eating here every week!

I never had Burmese curry and usually cook and grew up with West Indian curry. This curry was more tomato based, a little spicy with fresh ginger. It was tasty and honestly very well priced. Service was warm and friendly. Great spot to eat.

Had the chicken and squash curry with white rice as a lunch special. Came with clear vegetable soup, a small salad and a spring roll. Strong black pepper flavor to the soup. Fresh and tasty. Spring roll was a bit gooey inside, but okay. Curry was very good. Topped it off with a Burmese-style iced milk tea. A very nice meal for the price ($10 without the tea. $13 all in). Definitely stop by if you are anywhere near--like with a gap between trains. (Amtrak station is an easy 10-15 minute walk.)

Slow service but worth it for the delicious and extremely well priced food! We stopped by here on the drive back from Montreal to NYC. I wasn't a huge fan of the tea leaf salad but the salmon coconut milk curry and pineapple chicken fried rice were excellent!

I ate lots Burmese food when I was living in Thailand. Also visited two cities in Myanmar. Absolutely loved food from Myanmar. It’s hard to find Burmese food in the US - this is one of the best Burmese restaurants I’ve seen. So glad to find this place. The food is so amazing here. It’s family owned and the staff are so nice

Excellent food and service. I ordered take-out from here, and while ordering the website said ready in 15 mins. But once the order went through, I was informed it would take 50 mins. Panicked, I called the restaurant and they prepared the food super-quick. Despite the rush, the quality was excellent, the best egg-curry I ever had and the burmese fried rice is to die for. The chicken was a little overcooked but still good. If you are in the area do check it out, its really close from the train station
