Am I wrong or is Starbucks wrong?
I was at the Rensselaer location today on Route 4 and saw this sign.
As some one who directly works with those most in need, we have individuals here in the Capital Region who struggle just to eat on a nightly basis and what does Starbucks do? Ship the leftover food at night to New York City - over 150 miles away!
I plan to post this in a couple of different places on Social Media and will not be patronizing Starbucks until this policy changes and they actually help those right here in their neighborhood instead of those 150 miles away!
If you agree with me, please share this post and let Starbucks know that this isn't right and they should support Food Pantries here in the Capital District!

This place’s service and staff were amazing! Baristas were so nice and welcoming. I forgot to add extra matcha to my drink and they remade it within one minute with such a big smile on their face!

I usually don’t post reviews, however the atmosphere was not the best in this establishment. May be a one time thing but work ethic is a big part of who I am and my experience was not pleasing.
My infant child was having a small crying fit so i go where I normally can feel welcome, a local Starbucks. He cried for about a minute while i prepared a bottle, settled down quickly and on the 2nd bottle i accidentally spilled some formula.
I went to the front and just asked if I could borrow a broom and I offered to clean it up myself. when I asked the employee If I could borrow the broom his Demeanor was as if I just interrupted him. I said thank you multiple times with no acknowledgment in the 1 minute it took him to mop directly over the formula instead of sweep and mop.
I was going to place a larger order following but decided to head elsewhere. Like I said, I usually don’t post reviews but was less than pleased on the attitude that was radiating from this individual and the overall moral of the staff seemed off.

I’m honestly never one to leave a review because I never wanna sound like a Karen and have also worked service industry jobs and understand how tolling they can be but I just had such a ridiculous experience in the drive thru this morning. Me and my partner had placed a mobile order that hadn’t loaded and so it just had gone thru when we got to the speaker. When we got to the window the worker stuck their head out and essentially told my partner off claiming that “she does this everyday” and “my baristas are complaining”. It was incredibly rude and totally uncalled for. My partner had also already apologized profusely (though she really didn’t need to) and the worker continued to essentially tell her off. I think there could have been a respectful way to say it but ALSO complaining about receiving orders at your job where your assigned task is to receive and make orders is absurd. Genuinely such an off putting experience.
The team here is great. The store is generally clean. The music is absolutely atrocious and way to loud.
There is one table away from the speaker but it's always used by crew for meetings, inventory, etc.
Why??? At 9AM the music doesn't need to be cranked up to the point that I need to repeat my order to the barista for them to hear me.

The staff and crew here are amazing. After coming here dozens of times they have always been perfect. Truly my favorite Starbucks!

I’m so sad to be making this review but after a change in employees, this has become one of my least favorite Starbucks. There’s only one girl there who is friendly and everyone else is incredibly rude. I waited for 10 minutes at the window and when I asked Matt if I could just be refunded he was very rude and instructed me to just call corporate. And believe me, I was on the phone with them before I even left the parking lot. Hey Matt, maybe the service industry isn’t your calling.

I go to Starbucks all the time, but never left a review for any location. I’m leaving this review for the woman who definitely was the backbone of the team! Everyone was busy and working, but this lady was moving extremely quick to get those drinks done! I wish I would have gotten her name to give her the credit she deserves.

I was just at the Starbucks, I go here often, and my drinks either take a really long time or are messed up.
I went to the Starbucks today and send my fiancé in to pick up my two drinks,. The woman at the counter, stated that there was only one drink in the order and didn’t believe my fiancé when he said that there were two drinks - even though on the cup the sticker said “1 of 2 drinks.” My fiancé then came out to grab my phone so he could show the lady that there were in fact, two drinks in the order. When she saw the drink that I had ordered (lavender oatmilk latte with 1 espresso) , she asked my fiancé. “Okay how do you make that to which she responded “Oh I have no idea.” I had ordered one espresso because I’m breast-feeding, and cannot have over a certain amount of caffeine a day. When the drink finally came out 20 minutes later, it tasted like dirt. It must have been either four+ espresso, or cold brew coffee? It tasted bitter and old. The lavender was not mixed into the drink at all, absolutely disgusting.
This is one if the nicest Starbucks ever. The staff is always so helpful and goes above n beyond for costumer service

As soon as I walked in, all of the staff was busy, so I wasn't acknowledged right away. I noticed that this happens often at Starbucks. I still think that an acknowledgment is needed to ensure that someone knows that you are there. However, the associate who took care of me was great. The tables were a bit dirty. The music was fun to listen to, but it was a bit too high. If I were there with someone to talk to, I would not last long because of the music being too loud. Overall, this Starbucks is great.
