Stopped in on our way to make a shed delivery. Besides having excellent food (the burgers are superb and according to my son “it’s the best breakfast spot yet”) they have adequate parking to accommodate a truck and trailer. The owners are super nice, their meats are sourced out of their family farm and they have a grab and go option for when they aren’t open! 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic place, right across from the Huyck Preserve! Family owned and run, super welcoming, kind atmosphere, with lots of interesting things happening all the time! And the food is PHENOMENAL! Great seasonal menu with vegetarian and gluten free options to please everyone, from comfort food to more adventurous options. The hand-cut fries are incredible, and the porch appliance to-go meals are perfection. Just had the polenta lasagna and it's my new obsession. Thanks Kuhars, for making a wonderful space! <3

First time here and definitely coming back. The brown ale was outstanding on tap. Had the special for the night a chimichanga and I cannot rave enough how delicious it was. Had the dessert, a blueberry/peach cobbler and WOW. You order at counter and get a buzzer to pick up when ready.

Rensselaerville would not be Rensselaerville without Kuhars! It’s places like this wonderful gem of a restaurant/farm stand that make the town a true community. Micah and Rochelle’s food is always innovative and delectably delicious. Their burgers are top shelf, as is everything which comes fresh from their farm. The setting and the service are exemplary and the reason people come far and wide for Kuhars! Rochelle has gone above and beyond to stock their farm fridge for the days you need something delicious to grab and go. The Moroccan Chicken dish was inspired and perfectly executed. My husband and I are so grateful to be within walking distance to this very special farm stand not only for the excellent food but for the community. Kuhars is truly special.

Kuhar’s is the beating heart of the beautiful Rensselaerville community. They provide the most delicious, fresh and local meals, and serve them with the kindest hearts and biggest smiles. They know all the locals names, and welcome in newcomers with open arms. And it’s not even just food! They bring in excellent local musicians and artists. The porch fridge where you can grab meals and fixings to-go during off hours is the best thing since sliced bread. 5 stars and 5 hearts ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The food was delicious I had bacon egg and cheese one a bun $10. a friend had bacon egg and cheese on a bagel $16. my problem is this isn't NYC so as I said it was tasty but add coffee and a cup of tea $32.00 won't happen again and a refill on coffee was $1. So if you don't care about money , it was tasty . The reason the three stars for service is you ordered at the counter and have to pick it up there when it's ready . I'm not a good waiter . I guess it's not my cup of tea .

Cute family farm serving Saturday brunch and Wednesday dinner. Excellent staff and seating options, food was good, and it’s a short walk from the beautiful Huyck Nature Preserve. Overall it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We had a delicious Mother’s Day brunch this past weekend. The French toast and loaded home fries were out of this world good. I definitely recommend Kuhar Family Farm to anyone who likes great food and a nice atmosphere.
