I had never been here before. I was so happy that I found it while out for a drive. Great items for sale as unique gifts. Staff was very friendly. I chose the chicken salad sandwich - which was very fresh and delicious. I also had lavender lemonade and flourless chocolate cake - yummy. I sat for a bit, met some other visitors. They have a nice outside area with tables and peaceful atmosphere. Will go back for sure - I wish I had bought some things, but didn't expect to find...
Wow, this little store has been many things over the years, including my grandfather’s paddock and tack shop when I was a small child. It is now a café and has a little art gallery. They an outdoor seating area and it is absolutely delightful. I’ve never seen it and the town, Vischer’s Ferry, looks so good as I did when I came through here. We finally made it to Vischer Ferry General Store and it was worth the wait! The cafe and gift shop are so inviting and they even have a nice space for small events or private parties upstairs. We grabbed a sandwich from the grab-'n-go case since we arrived a bit too late for the kitchen service and it was so good! We will be back for a breakfast sandwich, for sure. The gift shop has many choices for anyone on your list -- or yourself! -- and a nice selection of specialty...
