Arguably the best, and easily most unexpected, meal we had in Rhinebeck!
Really interesting, tasty food - plus some inventive options for gluten free people. Both of our meals were hulking portions, and great value.
Really nice aspect too, overlooking the Inn

I don’t usually ever have high expectations for food outside the city. Food was exceptional and worth the price. Really well seasoned and very scrumptious. Would definitely come back for those yuca fries !

Transparently speaking I didn’t have high hopes for a Puerto Rican restaurant in Rhinebeck but whenever possible I’m intentional about supporting the Latin American community especially small businesses. I grew up with access and currently reside in a neighborhood with authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The food at Cafe Con Leche was absolutely stunning, perfectly seasoned! I had the mofongo with pernil and a passion fruit juice. The serving size was very generous, the prices were fair, the service was pleasant, and while the space was small, they’ve made great use of it. The restaurant was nicely decorated, very clean, and you have the option to order online instead of at the counter which is what I opted for. 10/10, highly recommended!
Coffee itself tastes good, but the oat milk in my cappuccino was unfortunately way over steamed and therefore so hot I had to wait a long time to drink it. By that time all the foam was gone.
Great flavor, generous portions, cozy atmosphere. Excellent!
Service was horrible, the woman at register gave me the wrong item, then went into the back and I couldn’t get her attention for several minutes. Once she came back out, she told me I had the right item, which was supposed to be a chocolate chip cake, but it was covered in walnuts. I then asked or something different, a blueberry cake, and when she gave it to me it tasted like it was still defrosting - even though they advertise that they have fresh baked goods daily. This should and could be a good spot for coffee, etc, but the woman working the front is very unwelcoming. So many amazing options in town, I will not be back. Too bad, I wanted to like this place.
Great place with friendly staff. Lots of Puerto Rican delights.

Food is very good!! Mofongo is delicious! Reservations are recommended, especially on the weekend. They have a decent sized parking lot but you may still have to wait to people to leave to find a spot.
I love the food here however the service isn’t great. Recently got take out and they told me while giving me the food that they had to substitute white rice or yellow because they ran out. This would have been good to know prior because that was the main reason I got the dish. Additionally there was no sauce with the meal.
