Food was expensive & burnt
I like to support local businesses and I know Dell is based in Red Hook Rhinebeck. However, it’s hard to ignore that each time I come here there’s always something that I find slightly annoying. Today all the signs said open so I did an about face down the road came back because I missed the entrance. Only to find out they’re closed for another 45 minutes and opens at four! OK but the last time I was there, I remember the lines being ridiculously slow and the prices were ridiculous. Go to holy cow You may not have quite the selection but you’ll get good quality ice cream for half price. Good luck y’all.
Best burgers in this area.
I took my family for the second time and left again without ice cream.
I saw someone else here commented that they don’t have soft serve and as far as my experience they haven’t had it either times I went too. :(
Not to mention the prices are high!
Sadly after giving it a second shot my family wont be returning.
Tasty ice cream, fair prices, and extensive flavors. I enjoyed my stop at Del’s very much!
The last three times I’ve gone there they’ve constantly run out of soft serve ice cream. I used to work at an ice cream shop and throughout the day we would check The machine to make sure that we weren’t low on soft ice cream.
Kinda disappointed this keeps happening.
My kids ask to come here ALL THE TIME. As a teardrop owner, the camper parked out front pulled me in, if the ice cream hadn’t.
Good food, beverage selection (including local craft beers for adult beer floats), and the ice cream speaks for itself.
I consistently order the flight; where you can select 6 flavors of ice cream to sample. They often have outdoor events and community happenings.
Bathrooms with sinks for sticky fingers! Outdoor games, plenty of outdoor seating, and chill vibes.
Parking: Street parking should lot be full
Kid-friendliness: The kids will be the reason you consistently go
Wheelchair accessibility: All street level

I waited 48 minutes for a hamburger they gave me a device that rings when my food is ready that thing rang 3 times, I told the girl and she was like lost. I ask her where is the food? she answer me is coming soon, I told her the device already rang and no answer from her.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, I do understand they make their food at moment as your order but 48 minutes for hamburger? its incredible

Stopped by hoping for a quick bite and some ice cream. The girl taking orders seemed annoyed to be there. Ice cream was handed to us already melting. Heard kitchen staff yelling and cursing in the back. People after us were being told they’d have a hour wait for food. I waited 37 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries, which no one warned us about the wait. Beeper finally goes off and I’m just standing at the window waiting until someone finally tells me that you pick up food around the side. Really disappointed by the whole experience.

Didn’t know ice cream could be handed to you melting. Watched the staff holding my ice cream walk in circles as it melted for 5 minutes before having it taken away by a manager and handed to me.

We were going through the area on our way to Montreal biking the Empire State Trail and needed to fill up on carbs.
The 100+ cows ? next to the store made us stop and say “Let’s help these local farmers instead some fast food places further down the road!
Ordered their salad ? with grilled chicken and a lavender, blueberry & honey milkshake.
OMG ? what a beautiful culinary experience for less than $20
It was the best food I’ve had in the US for the past year and you don’t have to watch TV to know that fast food nation isn’t really famous for being good at healthy eating!
From Manhattan up there had been nothing but fast food, crappy pizza joints and Chinese you pay as you go tasteless cuisine.
So to be served by two young adults who knew every menu item as if they had invented the recipe and then eat in peace with a stunning view over the farm you could not be more proud of yourself for biking along this road and treat yourself for this delicious meal.
Folks, get out of your TV dinner coach and savour what America is about: farmers working hard to get a healthy meal on the table!
Note: electric bikes are also welcome if you need to get your cardio in shape and start slow
