We stop in at Gary's Dairy and Deli every time after we deliver trucks to NYS DOT in Poughkeepsie. They make a huge sandwich the way we want them. They have a great variety of sandwiches on their board. The prices I think are reasonable for the size and quality of sandwiches. They carry other items such as beer, soda, chips etc that a small store may carry. They do not accept credit cards but do have an ATM on site inside. They do not have any seating inside and have only one picnic table outside. Also there are no public bathrooms. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a quality sandwich that will fill them up. They also do sub rolls and hamburgers or egg sandwiches.

Went there and got a turkey BLT. Not good at all. I can't believe there are making the sandwiches likes this two pieces of bacon weak on the turkey. For the money should have been better. Not a place I would recommend.

So, I ordered a chicken cutlet, lettuce, tomato and beacon on a sub. What I received was 1 frozen round chicken patty cut in half. 1 or 2 slices of beacon, 1 paper thin slice of tomato and 1 piece of lettuce. Hero sandwich was disgraceful to say the least. I know times are rough, but I paid $15! I will NEVER spend my hard-earned money for such a poor display of food that Gary’s Deli had the nerve to sell me Ever Again! See the picture....

this is a great deli even though they only take cash. The sandwiches are always amazing. I’m grateful that they’re on my way back from work today. I had a sandwich and I asked them not to make it so thick because they make some really big sandwiches and it was perfect and I’m so happy and I just wanted to thank the employees so much

Gary & staff always give me a great roast beef sandwich.
This is a really nice deli. It's such a feel good mom and pop shop. Heads up..its cash only , but don't worry they have ATM...AND the coffee is better than most...I just love supporting small local businesses....
