Fantastic experience: friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, truly excellent food - the 3 bean side and griddled banana bread were really awesome add ons!

It was such a nice place to eat / a few groceries store... The new owners (well not so new they've been there 5 years already LOL) you are so so friendly and very catering... Not every day you meet a really nice family like that.. highly recommend the breakfast sandwich was amazing

Best banana bread I've ever had !! Try it !
Also love the bacon cheeseburger and still have more menu items to try. It's also cozy in there with the friendliest staff and a big porch. Serves as a small store too.

It’s a small place, it’s very simple. Fried chicken sandwich is fantastic!!! Perfectly fried chicken: juice and short and just right. Fried banana bread is a big portion, it’s interesting and good. Recommend. It’s a good place for a quick snack or food on the go. The lady at the counter was very friendly. Cute place.

We didn’t get any beverages, so can’t speak to their coffee.

When you walk in it is very nice nice until you get where they cook the food. They had fly traps but it really didn't help..very grossed out but the flys flying around the food. The cook was picking up food without gloves but the only good thing was the amount of grease they used would kill anything that touch the food. Back tables were dirty with other peoples food..

awesome little shop and cafe with a great tinned fish selection

I stumbled upon this humble country store and eatery while riving through Rhinebeck this afternoon, and what a gem of a find! I stopped for lunch and ate outside on the porch. The food is nothing special or innovative, but it is good down-home fare that gets the job done. The veggie burger was home made, as was the potato salad. The grocery section of this store was surprisingly well-stocked. Had I more time, I would have sat in a rocking chair on the porch after lunch to enjoy the afternoon!
