I was led to believe this is the best place to eat in Rhinebeck, and wholeheartedly disagree.
For me; the food lacked flavor, and the quality was lacking considering the cost factor.
Parking: Can be limited so you may have to walk a block

Service was very good and friendly. All four of us enjoyed dinner, and we really don’t have any complaints about the place.

I want to love it. The reviews are great. And while the service is excellent and it is a pretty restaurant the food is mediocre at best. I’m not sure what everyone is talking about. So many better options in the Hudson Valley.

Came to Rhinebeck for New Year’s Eve with a friend of mine, we went to Le Petit bistro for dinner. IT WAS AMAZING. The ambience was extravagant. The food was delicious. Staff couldn’t of been more friendly. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who has never been. It was out of this world. Great food, great atmosphere, and a super friendly professional staff. Love, love, love this place. When I come back to Rhinebeck, this will be the first place im going.
What a great place! Beautiful ambience, good food but, most of all, awesome service! The only negative, and it’s not even a big deal, was the hot chocolate (a little cold and not enough chocolate, maybe a personal taste thing) but everything else is top notch. The German potato pancakes with poached eggs were amazing! The staff were super friendly, and went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended.

This over rated pseudo French cafe depends on the tourist trade who visit only while day tripping. The acoustics are horrible, and make chatting with your dining mates nearly impossible. The tables are so cramped that you can easily share plates with the next table. Small portions and slow service round out the over priced menu selections. There are excellent French restaurants nearby in Red Hook and Pine plains as well as Kingston. I highly suggest you try any of those. All are superior to this tourist trap.

First time here. Had best French onion soup here, so much better than those places with *s, tasty, not too salty, but with flavors. The oysters are so fresh, escargot is delicious too!
