We were a party of 14 squeezed together in a small-ish restaurant - you know, when you worry about if there will be enough room on the table for things. Initial concern was thrown out the window and we never looked back. Rachel and Jessica watched over us and we never got a chance to ask for a water refill or have to hail them down for a drink order, napkin request, etc. They may have had eyes in the back of their heads and were seamless in delivery, without being on top of us. And then the food....we are particular, not picky. I got nothing. Not only was everything delicious but it was all cooked perfectly to our varying orders. This place has the best location in town but it relies on great food, service and a super friendly warm vibe. I tip my hat to them.

There's a reason why this restaurant has so many regulars and is so popular among local people. Le petite will consistently deliver a five star experience. The food and drinks are excellent. I've had many meals there and they've all been good. No matter what you choose, You can't go wrong. But What really puts it over the top for me is the people that work there. Not only are they nice and attentive, They are very knowledgeable and excited to be there. It makes for a really nice dining experience. The quaint cozy atmosphere is Perfect for a romantic night out

Food is ok. Service is terrible. We waited for 20 min for bread and over 1 hour for food, no one ever came up and said why its taking so long, but instead, when we brought it up, we were educated what it means to be in a fine dining restaurant. It really seemed like a joke and we never heard any positive words from manager.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. We had the oysters, schnitzel and NY strip. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.

Shared 4 appetizers - dozen oysters (all from Canada), beet salad, mussells with fries, and steak tartar. Oysters were amazing, no complaints. The beet salad had a disproportionate amount of beets and fennel to goat cheese. The steak tartar had gristle, and despite the cornichon and mustard, it just all felt very heavy for an app. The mussells were overcooked, salty, and the broth was practically non-existent.The service was lovely and so were the drinks. Music comes in but not too loud, and it's clearly a neighborhood favorite with locals coming in and greeting the staff with hugs. Busy for a Thursday evening, the food was a little slow coming out, but no one seemed to mind.

Absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Starting off the meal with warm bread and whipped butter set the tone for the meal. Raw oysters are a must for me when I dine out because of the numerous health benefits that I cannot prepare at home. Next, we had the most delicious steak tartare I have ever had. The photo speaks for itself. Lastly, we shared Ropa Vieja and it was so delicious. The shredded beef had the perfect flavor profile, basmati rice was cooked to perfection, plantains brought me back to when I visited Costa Rica and the beans left that cozy feeling in my belly. Absolutely wonderful!! I cannot wait to come back and have the best time! Our server was lovely!

Absolutely perfect birthday dinner with my best friend! The fresh bread is lovely, our appetizers were delicious, my best friend was so pleased with her scallops, and the waitress noted her birthday and had it written on the dessert plate. ?❤️Love it here.

My family and have been coming here for years, since the early 2000s and have never had a bad experience until 4 days ago. I don’t know if they were understaffed or lost a cook but was a horrible experience. Was rushed to our table and before we got a chance to sit, was asked what we wanted to order from the drinks menu or if we “had already made up our minds before we got here”. Completely rude staff. Felt like I was being rushed out the door the whole time. They forgot to place the butter for our rolls, didn’t walk us through the menu like they used to do. My fried oysters which I look forward to each time I go were horribly plated with way too much garnish and my steak frite had no flavor (they forgot to add the garlic to the “garlic butter” sauce) and the spinach side was flavorless. The rest of my family’s meals were also bland for what the prices are now. The waitress told us she was tired and wanted to go home by the time we paid our check! For what they are charging now, get better staff. I saw more than 1x a waiter almost spill food or drinks onto someone. Felt completely rushed and like they couldn’t wait to see the back of every table they seated.

Disappointed at a French Bistro. We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was supposed to be good, including the entree Pork Schnitzel, but unfortunately that dish was sold out, and even though I asked they refused to provide it. Instead I chose the burger hoping it would be done well, but unfortunately it was not. My family had the steak, oysters, steak tartare, and mussels and they said they liked everything but the steak, because it was not really tasty and sliced up into something like steak tips Unfortunately my burger was not really that good .No ice was put in the glasses, for our on-the-h house water. The service was as friendly as it could be, under the circumstances.I'm not sure I will ever be coming back again.

Cozy bistro in the center of Rhinebeck serving hardy French and American fare. Pork Schnitzel and Lamb loin were outstanding as was the beet salad and fried oysters.Kid-friendliness: There were several youngsters and Al were enjoying their meals

What a wonderful find. The restaurant is cozy, not too loud, great food, and wonderful attentive service. We both had a schnitzel special and shared a big salad before, with wines by the glass. The food was flavorful and they were happy to make one small change due to a food allergy. Will definitely return when we are in the areaDietary restrictions: very easy to substitute sides
