This was an experience I do not wish to experience again. I have been debating if I wanted to do a review on this restaurant after going last week to have a nice family dinner. I was immediately impressed by how beautiful the estate looked, but as soon as we went in and ordered food, we ended up waiting entirely too long to have service at our table. The food was enjoyable, but the service was absolutely awful! Needless to say, anyone that plans on visiting The Estate At Maplewood, I do not recommend it.

This is a very warm, welcoming home that has been restored beautifully. From the moment we walk through the door to when we were leaving, we felt like family. Plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Fun and inventive specials. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. I will definitely be back! Thank you for an enjoyable evening!

The brisket was blackened and stringy. The French fries were terrible tasting. McDonald's French fries taste much better. One sweet red pepper strip still had the grocery label on it after it was cooked and added to the brisket. Taste and quality must come first!

What a beautiful place. Had a great meal, delicious. Chicken Gorgonzola was to die for! My husband ate the rack of ribs, fell right off the bone. The Mac and cheese sauce was good, but was a little bland. Great selection of drink and meal options.

It’s taken me a while to get to Maplewood—definitely not wow’d, but not completely dissatisfied. We had a decent sized group (6), appetizer arrived in a timely manner. 2 meals came out well before the other 4 meals- 3 of us order specials and 3 of us ordered burgers. The burgers were dry and over cooked, and the specials were ok- again not wow’d.Our server did an excellent job-I think the draw here is the ascetics of the building- which is beautiful, full of characteristics and charm. Don’t go with anticipation of an outstanding meal- just go enjoy the building! Sit by the fire and have a drink.Maybe I’ll return to try it again- maybe I’ll just go sit by the fire with a glass of wine.

I give this place 2 stars, like alot of people local to the area I was excited to the idea that we actually had a good restaurant to go eat at, because as alot of people know it's hard to find a Good place to eat locally unless you want pizza.we went as a large group atleast 8 people.the place is rustic almost historic , they had the fire place going it was a nice atmosphere. But the waitress serving us didn't ask us if we wanted drinks immediately took out food order and bolted.she seemed very stressed and uncaring. I ordered the 30$ rib eye baked potatoe and fries and had to walk up the the bar for a soda which was completely flat no carbonation . I should have know what i was in for when the meal was brought out and had an orange slice as a garnish? The rib eye was a complete joke it was like chunks of fat and gristle glued together .i asked for well done it was not, no seasoning I had to add salt and pepper to get the two bite of meat? That I was able to find in the pile of fat and gristle. I DO NOT recommend the rib eye. It was disgusting. The baked potato was I'm gonna guess 3 days old it was almost black in color and the actual inside of the baked potatoes was brown like it was sitting out all day. Best part of the meal was the fries. In conclusion if you get hammered at the bar and eat your probably good to go . But if you think your gonna go out have a glass of wine with your significant other and have. Beautiful dinner date go some where else, better luck at texas road house. It's a shame but I will not go back and I have no good words to say to others who ask about the place

I have been to the estate at Maplewood numerous times. I always bring my family and friends there when they visit. I have never had a bad meal there. Nor has anyone I’ve brought there. The owner, who I’ve seen there helping his staff when they’ve been busy and the staff themselves are always so nice and friendly. They always check to see if u need anything, and to make sure everything is good. I recommend this place to everyone I talk with. But best of all they have a vegan burger now n my daughter is vegan and can join us for dinner. Give it a try if u haven’t yet. It’s a great night out.

Our waitress Linda was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Prime Rib end cut and Halibut were both very good. The macaroni and cheese was out of this world. We would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere too.
