This place is a vibe, definitely gives off Irish pub meets dive bar. The guys are all at the bar watching the game, it's kind of cute. Our server was great, she checked in on us quite a few times. We ordered wings and a side of onion rings, they were delicious. The wings were freshly made so they took a while but we were there to hang so it's just something to be aware of if you order.

Cabin with a lot of rooms…so room allocation is based on your luck no matter what you see from the site. Lucky that we stay just for a night here.. bathroom is outside, and flooring is a little slanted. So i woke up with headache. If you are claustrophobic, this room at the corner might not be too good for you.

Meanwhile, food wise at the restaurant is good.

Passing through and needed a home base for the weekend and I couldn't have been more pleased. My understanding is that it's under new management, so if you stayed/dined previously, I would recommend giving it another visit.

Laurie picked this spot to stay on our road-trip to New Hampshire to see the sights. We arrived at night and I was not too impressed at first being the pessimist that I am. But in the morning my mood changed drastically! I brought my 12 string along as I always do and Pat one of the curators of the wonderful establishment heard me and after I mentioned I was a ameture solo artist invited us back to stay on OCT, 5, 2024. We were treated as royal Guests..
Definitely an experience for the books. Everything people write good about this place is true!

Noteworthy details: The hospitality and service was excellent.
Super nice and clean. A charming piece of New York History. Plus they invited Jim Larson , "The Acoustic Guy play there!

There was a wedding there tonight and our service was ok but the meal
took forever to receive. They probably should have closed to the public for the wedding. The waitresses were doing the best they could but they seem to be short staffed. I had the haddock that was dry and over cooked. The rice was good though .

Food and drinks: Food was ok, the wine delicious!

I am so grateful I found this place! My boyfriend and I came from Pennsylvania and we travel alot, usually doing air b&bs. We booked the rail express in Milford and wanted somewhere to stay for the weekend. This was beyond our expectations. We stayed in one of the cabins which was so adorable! The beds are SO COMFY! Walking out your door is the most gorgeous view of the lake. The vintage feel to the hotel/lodge is so neat! You just don’t see that anymore. It is so clean, the food is absolutely phenomenal, and the husband and wife running it are the nicest people we have ever come across in doing all of our traveling! They made us feel right at home without hesitation. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We will most definitely be coming back to do some fishing!

Food and drinks: The absolute best duck we have ever had! The food is to die for! You MUST eat here!!

We stayed here for a surprise birthday party and I had an incredible time. It’s very vintage which I am a huge fan of. Rooms are very clean and a they have fire pits and places to fish during your stay. Owners Patrick and Sabina are the most friendly helping you will ever find, they made our trip amazing. Not to mention the food which is out of this world, trust me you will not be disappointed!

Nice view of the lake. But, the food is not up to what is expected for the price charged.

Came in for dinner and it was 70 minutes until we received our food. The restaurant was half empty on a Friday night, it seemed egregiously slow.

The deck has a lovely view, the server was as expected, and the food was fine.

This was our second stay and we loved be it! We will be back next summer for opera season. The only thing I would suggest is new sheets for our room. The fitted sheet kept slipping off.
