Delicious food and great service! Love that it’s family owned and run. They have homemade pies and delicious pancakes with real maple syrup. Best breakfast in town!

There is something special about a local family owned business in a small town. Tally-Ho in Richfield Springs is able to turn back the clock with a welcoming family-like space offering friendly service and delicious food at fair prices. Having only heard good things about their food and especially their pies since moving into the area I finally got a chance to try it out. The waitress with a glowing smile played along and took my order - give me the two best breakfast dishes you have - and with a small assurance that I like everything and would eat anything, she went to work to put the order in.The French toast arrived with bacon and I had to ask what it was because I couldn't remember if I have ever been served six huge slices of what appeared to be perfectly dipped, browned, powder sugared, and fresh smelling happiness. I ate a few pieces and it hit the spot. The next plate I tried was full of a meat lovers omelette and toast. The meats were plentiful and had great flavors. The cheese, peppers, and mushrooms complimented the egg blanket it was all wrapped up in lovely. I ate until I was happy and debated on taking a slice of pie for the road, after all, it was breakfast time and I'd never eat pie so early in the day ;)As I gently watched the snow fall outside the large and clean window, I switched back to breakfast mode and thought some diner hash browns would be wonderful to take home and eat later with the leftovers. I asked for them and was informed they didn't have any. At first I was wondering if I called them by the wrong name but she quickly suggested their sliced potatoes. I can't recall the name but I thought she explained it as basically a baked potato sliced up with some seasoning. I waited until later in the day to try them and can confirm they too were wonderful and went great with the leftovers.Everything about this stop lived up to expectations and I loved that people walked in and were greeted by name and the sense of community was there. I hope to visit again but it's going to be hard to try the other dishes I could hear other patrons compliment because my breakfast was so good. Give it a try and tell me if I'm wrong.

We are from long Island. We come here every 2 weeks to eat when we are at our other home. As far as I'm concerned, the best food and service anywhere in the area. Good home cooking, great service. Will always come back.

Great food for cheap! Huge serving sizes and great service. The ambience proved to me that It was a family restaurant.

Our group of seven went for the Friday fish fry. Everyone felt the dinner was excellent. A surprise was the side dish of cole slaw, probably the best I have ever had. Additionally, the selection of desserts was quite unusual with items such as cookies & cream pie, peanut butter pie, etc. Very reasonable prices. However, a small restaurant so try to arrive at an off hour to ensure seating.

The waitress was clearly concerned with something else that wasn't us. The food was good. The best part about it was that legal gun owners can come into this place.

The restaurant was closed. Unable to eat there. So we walked down the street to Cassidy Diner for breakfast. Nothing special just good breakfast. Coffee was good so I was happy. Tried Tally Ho next day still closed. Must only b open on weekends.

What a great dinner spot. I had a Ruben and it came more like a pastrami with cheese. No dressing, no sauerkraut, on rye. But I liked it. My wife's burger was delish and a mountain of fries. I should have had fish n chips or the fried chicken dinner. Both looked great. We are next door at the village inn. This was so good we'll be back for breakfast. The motel is across the lot. Very affordable. 1/3 of what dinner was last night. $$.
