What a great place to eat. Been there since the 70's. We were the only ones there early in the morning. If you go there tell Whoopie we said HI from FL!! If you're a first timer there get your photo taken and put on the wall!!! Would love to come by here again!!

After an early stop in Montour Falls, we hit the road toward the White Mountains in NH, stomachs growling like we’d been fasting for a week. The next breakfast spot was an hour away, but it was worth every mile: The Richford Diner.
This little country diner is the definition of small-town charm. Friendly service? Check. Cozy vibe? Double check. And the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve just wandered into a neighbor’s kitchen? Absolutely. We went with simple, protein-packed breakfasts (trying to keep the carbs under control… until the smell of toast nearly broke us), and it was exactly the fuel we needed for the road.
The highlight wasn’t just the food, though—it was the warmth of the woman running the place (we’re pretty sure she was the owner) and the adorable cameos from her kids, who somehow made the diner even cuter.
Bottom line: The Richford Diner is worth the detour. Come for the hearty breakfast, stay for the small-town kindness, and leave feeling like you’ve just been adopted into a new family.

Stopped for breakfast on our way home from Ithaca because of all of the great reviews and wanted to add another one! My omelette with gravy and homemade corned beef hash was copious and delicious. I can reinforce the positive hash review - nothing like canned with diced beef and potatoes. Whoopi's service was attentive and the food was prompt. The coffee was very good for a diner. We'll be back!

Very quaint diner in a rural location. The food was all homemade (delicious) and had a back home feeling to it. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. If youre from out of town I reccomend this spot for breakfast!

Just visited here for the first time, such a welcoming and inclusive environment. The new owner served us breakfast (homemade corn beef hash) and gave us advice on the local trails! Ive never had the corn beef hash homemade before and was unexpectedly surprised by how delicious is was. 10/10 diner experience.
