I was really in the mood for empanadas so my friend and I decided to come here to grab lunch and appetizers to go. They said about 15 minutes but we ended up waiting more than 45 minutes and still didn't get everything we ordered including the empanadas. Decided to wait longer so I can still get them but they were disgusting.. Soggy with oil and undercooked. Never again.

It's an okay restaurant. It's clearly ran by a family as a family business. I think they should invest in a chef to make and Prep meals for the restaurant. As well as a great bartender. This could take the restaurant to the next level where it needs to be. Prices are extremely affordable and I don't mind walking in and having lunch alone. It's comfortable and feels roomy.

I came here once and have been longing to come back. The chicharron de pollo sin huesos was the best I've ever had and the platano maduros were sweet and cut into bite-sized pieces. Also the Guanabana smoothie is really good!

The food lacks any finesse. Bland and or the oil is old and needs to be changed. I actually had a bone in my chicken empanada.... If you order from here expect everything to be soggy. The service time is ok not great or horrible. The last time I ordered from here was two nights ago I was disgusted by the food. They also gave me bad sour cream. I gave this place two attempts and I think that it was consistently bad. No need to try it again. If you are inebriated and getting off the A train somewhere near here then it maybe a drunken feast but other than that maybe this place should invest in a cook or shelf stable food...

Food is very tasty. Service is excellent. COzy, mom and pop shop. Favorites on the menu: cafe con leche, morir sonando.. steak and onions (very generous portions), maduros, chimi burger... chicken chimi is my least favorite.
