Definitely very bad service, I asked for a delivery apart from the fact that the person who answered the phone was apparently fed up and didn't want to work, so bad attitude, they sent us our meals without napkins, cutlery, spoon and without our sorbets for the juices ??♀️ also the Food was not that good at all, honestly last time I order here.

Inconsistent pricing with online and delivery vs ordering in person. I have had several issues over the past months where I get charged more or get much smaller portions when I attempt to order in person. If you are not Spanish speaking, you will get swindled.

I've had their food several times in the past 2 years and never had complaints. But today it was not good. The sweet plantains were oil-soggy, burnt and strange looking. The presentation needs to improve. The roast pork was tasty, as usual. The white rice was good, but I didn't enjoy the pale-looking beans so much. I'll try them again in person, instead of delivery.

We have been eating at this place for years and have dined in and ordered to go in the past, but after this Sunday, March 7th, I will never set foot there again. By the way the name is no longer El Canario, but it's the same people running the place. We wanted seafood, decided to dine in, sat down, asked for menus and ordered the seafood casserole, which said $37. We asked if it was enough for 2 people and the waitress said yes, therefore we ordered it. When it came it was seafood in liquid, no rice, no bread so we asked the waitress to bring us a serving of white rice. The rice was OK, but the seafood was extremely salty. After we were done and asked for the check, we were charged $45 for the seafood and $5 for the rice. We did not question the cost of the rice because we did not know what the menu said, but we did question the cost of the seafood. The waitress brought us a paper menu with the cost of $45, we told her that is a different menu because the one we were given which we ordered from was in a leather binding. She said she was going to talk to the manager. When she came back all she said was that the manager said that was the price. My husband and I talked before deciding what to do. Our decision: We paid the extra $7. We thought why should money hungry people ruin our Sunday. We are both professionals, who make enough money to have someone steal $7 from them and not even feel it, but it is not fair to those who are struggling. If you decide to eat at this place, all I am saying is buyer beware. This is the first negative review I have written in my life because I don't want this to happen to anyone.

What a delicious Dominican restuarant and bar. I was attended by the beautiful yujeidy her service was top notch. The food was really good and left me wanting more. I know when I'm back in town this will be a must. Thank you to the staff at El Canario 2.
