Newish establishment that while pricey will leave a lasting impression.

My man took me here to celebrate our engagement and everything was perfect. The food was incredible and our server Alejandra went above and beyond to make us feel special. Such a beautiful experience 🥹 The attention, the kindness, and the experience were unforgettable. Highly recommend!!!

Steph the bartender was amazing! His knowledge on the food was amazing and he made us feel right at home.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience here. From start to finish, the hospitality really stood out — even the GM followed up after our reservation, which you rarely see and says a lot about the level of care.

The service was excellent, and the entire staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The food was outstanding. The Caesar salad was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and we shared the porterhouse and beef fat fries — both were phenomenal.

I recently moved from Chicago, and the porterhouse here easily holds its own against some of the best steakhouses I’ve had. We’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough.

The Dynamo Room offers a unique New York City dining experience. I was able to be served at the bar and at a booth table. Both servers were polite and had extensive knowledge about the menu options and drinks. The ambiance of the restaurant gave an old New York feel. Overall my experience was great and I cannot wait to come back again and dine at the Dynamo Room!

I came here for a work holiday lunch. The service was notably the worst part of our experience. The waiter seemed disinterested and was extremely inattentive. The food and services is definitely not worth the price point of this restaurant.

I came here for a work holiday lunch and was very excited to try this place, as I’ve passed by several times. Unfortunately me and my coworkers were extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back.

First, the service was horrible. The waitress was not attentive, seemed annoyed by our asks (even though we were polite), as was overall pretty rude. I’ve gotten better service at fast food spots. My coworker was going to ask for a napkin, but before letting him finish she said “It’s coming” thinking he was going to ask about his salad. She simply did not seem happy to be there and it rubbed us the wrong way.

Second, the food was just okay. I expected out of this world food since the prices are extremely high. 3 pieces of shrimp in a $27 shrimp cocktail is sinful. My coworkers both ordered the steak frites medium rare and medium and both came out abhorrently rare, very inedible. The only thing that was fine was the salmon but that was overcooked.

There’s so many other steakhouses in the city that I would rather go to than this one, and probably spend less money for other quality food and service.

Overall, we were not impressed. The steak was basically raw and didn’t taste very good. It was $220 for the cut. We got the breaded chicken and it was bland, had ZERO flavor. Spent $700 and left disappointed and kind of felt sick to be honest. The service and drinks were good. Food SUCKED

My fiance and i have been to this restaurant twice now and absolutely love it. I took my family the other night and it was such a great time. The staff is so friendly and attentive. All around such a great dining experience. I had just gone wedding dress shopping and it felt like a true mini pre-wedding celebration. It was the perfect end to my day. The prime rib is a solid 10/10 with the horseradish cream. The garlic mashed potatoes are phenomenal. The drinks are strong! Overall, such an upbeat and classy atmosphere. The inside is so pretty! Definitely a great spot for a date night, celebration, or just because :). Can't wait to go back!

This restaurant was a great surprise before an event at MSG. The food was absolutely stellar! Cocktails were crafted perfectly. The service ....top tier ! My go to going forward when in that area.

Cool ambiance. Service was bad. Waitress had little awareness and unsure that she’s ever dined at a nice restaurant herself.

The filet was tough (but cooked to a nice medium rare) would guess very low grade meat. Fries were clones of Buffalo Wild Wings. Margarita was abysmal, but old fashioned was very good.

Would avoid.

I stopped by this place when I was walking by in the msg area, and what a nice place!! It has that high scale end but still a fun vibe. It has a beautiful outdoor area that even on a chilly night, many people were enjoying.
Definitely looking to come back very soon!

Ps: Ana behind the bar, was veryy attentive, and made me a perfect espresso martini… one of the best ones I’ve had, and take it from someone that knows the industry :)
