Long Island is our home away from home, and when we get to go and visit our loved ones, we go straight to our delicatessens!! No hero, compares to a LI one, or Manhattan! We tried Harvest Moon Deli, because years ago we loved the previous deli. Harvest moon is delicious and the staff are so very nice ?
This place has become a staple in my routine. One of the tastiest delis I've been to counting all over long island and the boroughs. Thick chicken cutlets with great breading that doesn't slide off and isn't too oily. Fresh large sesame seed and toasted garlic heroes. Delicious iced coffee and they make the ice cubes FROM coffee! Fantastic.
